What about Robert Parish?

George Floyd Parish. Might as well be the first since the country thinks he's a hero.

There was no Opelousas parish

Technically you're right. Although Calcasieu (or "Imperial Calcasieu") Parish was originally formed from St. Landry Parish, where Opelousas is located

not technically, I am right - there was never an "opelousas" parish. JD came out of Calcasieu but yes calcasieu did form out of St landry.

Have you ever been to Jefferson Davis Parish?

You'd have to pay the corporation to put their name on it.

I wonder what it would cost the state/parish to do this? Business registrations, tax information etc. It’s not really on an address normally or on signage but it’s recorded on some official documents.
