Just me, but IMO no flag should fly on public grounds except for the stars ans stripes. And especially not on government property. All these state flags, state birds, trees, are superfluous.
And the flag should never be flown half mast. I know what it's supposed to mean but I honor the men and women who have sacrificed blood and life for this country by keeping my flag flying high and proud.
And no I'm not a racist, my views extend to the confederate battle flag and all variations of the same also.

shite I read something on that yesterday. That they are trying to change it now. Also read that Nascar wants to band rebel flags. Would love to see how that goes. Rednecks are what made that sport. Who will go and watch them? Liberals.
