One (if not all) of the following results will occur if you do this:

1. Waste your time.
2. Strain your relationships with family and friends.
3. Cause problems at work, potentially termination.

None of those are positive. If you need to rant and bitch about something, do it here. That limits the outcome to result #1.

Being in your 20s when you make a comment on social media doesn't prevent someone from bringing it back up 10 years later. Look at some of the people getting fired or "cancelled" because of something they posted when they were teenagers

Right, but I was super dumb at 21. I wouldn't have known what I would have to lose 21 years later.

this is a huge potential price and would likely be for no gain

I doubt you would change the mind of one Jacobin.

They don't allow facts, data or respectful dissent into debates.

I will fight back with my vote in November. If this chaos reaches my front door, then I will fight back with bullets.

I tried but realized how many sheep I know.

Not worth losing my job. If someone sees my posts and asks questions I will answer. Until then, I just know you can’t educate people who don’t want to be educated

I deleted after my nephew texted my son to tell him I was using racist code words. What the hell are racist code words. F him. He’s dead to me.

The way you deal with the current situation is:

1. Protect your family and property.
2. Do your job.
3. Mind your business.
4. Don't engage on social media.
5. Squash any bullshite that comes into your house.
6. VOTE like your life and everything you hold dear depends on it.

Anything else is a waste of energy and a liability.

Having conservative views is racist in 2020 America so unless you want to be fired and harassed by the mob I’d just stay out of it.

I literally cannot even like based posts bc ANTIFA has infiltrated most all FB groups and could easily get people fired through LinkedIn.

Nope. I don't walk 100% lockstep with the radical left, so I don't post anything on Twitter and I "deleted" facebook about a year ago.

I don't want to have my family threatened or lose my job.

This. I long ago decided I would use Facebook for keeping connected with distant family and friends and nothing else. I don't engage anyone in any sort of serious discussion on it, as I think it's a horrible platform for those kinds of conversations.

Unfortunately, I agree with you. At least you don't have to fight back with your life, yet. That's the real dilemma isn't it? We, as conservatives, would have to sacrifice in order to fight back. Not our lives, but perhaps our friendships or maybe even our jobs and livelihoods.

But that's the case with any war is it not? Does anyone doubt that we aren't in the middle of a war of some kind?

Until conservatives are ready to sacrifice (and I'm speaking of myself here as well) we will continue to look up and see this onward march towards wherever it is these people are taking us.

We were already disallowed from electing our own president. For 4 years they've done everything in their power to undo that election. Feels more like they're just having their way at this point. When are we that kid on the playground who finally has enough of the bully and snaps? Maybe we're "silent" because we are indeed passive?

Freedom of speech is dead.

Hence the silent majority.
