It's 12:18 and we're almost at today's high.

That's a little different.

Some of us appreciate your insight. Please don’t stop posting because of the jackasses in this thread. Reality is a needed and valuable asset in speculative threads like these

You realize they aren't doing any of this on a actual production scale right? Right now we are waiting for some company to show confidence that there is potential here and actually put up actual real money to make it happen to full scale (JV). There is no reason to think this announcement is coming any day now outside of things posted by someone who lives in Arkansas in this thread. I'm thankful for that insight, dont get me wrong, but still the company itself, is doing nothing that would indicate it's impending imo.

The potential for what you are saying is why I hold; and they have such a lead on others trying to do the same extraction process, that the price action over last year is rewarding us for holding. They have the ability to demonstrate the technology although, as far as I know, we have gotten no actual numbers about what is actually being produced in their demonstration unit, I could be wrong on that?

Sounds like we're on the same page. This is a speculative stock. If it weren't speculative, the market cap would be > 1.5bn. The yet to be answered question about scalability is just about the only holdup on this thing. For my risk tolerance, that's enough for me to be invested.

I guess you'd like each of us to say "this is a speculative stock, it could go down in the short term" in every one of our positive posts... not sure who needs to hear that, but if they need to hear that from this board, they probably should be investing on their own.

Mid day rip, not the mid day dip. I'll take it. I think it was algo driven, LAC and LLKKF had similar bumps as well around the same time.

Listening to Smack the last few days, I have to wonder if he decided that he needed to lower expectations to take a little pressure off of himself.

He admitted to being overly optimistic prior to last week, and felt the disappointment for himself, and no doubt, somewhat for all of us.

When he chose to do that, I think some took that as a sign to get out, along with a dip. So a few jumped out, which is fine too. Relieve themselves, and him too.

I wonder if this will cause him to be less sharing about his daily observations in his town.

ETA: As discussed, we pretty much brought the expectations of last week upon ourselves. This was no indication from Lanxess or Mintak.

For sure,
You don't get the immense possible gains a stock has like this one, without the speculative risk. It comes hand and hand.

I would hate to see some people buying at these $10-12 prices because they are expecting a news pop in the next week, and then panic selling at a loss a couple weeks later. Those of us with large positions with very small cost-basis's probably haven't added a whole lot in the last month, and the newbies need to know that.

I think many people started reading this thread in $10-$12 range, where we have been talking about the JV, so they're expecting it to hit in the next week or so.

Truth is, we've been talking and expecting the JV for a year now. They just didn't read 350 pages back.

Fact is, don't buy more than you can afford to lose. Fact is, it's going to go down sometimes.

For everyone who has held more than a month or so, has a net gain that they can exit with whenever they wish (with only mild harassment from the rest of us.)

This. And it's not a loss until you've sold. That's why I don't sweat these out and will be buying again when and if price gets right for me. I'm still bullish. And I'm still sweating my decision to take some profit, because Mintak has always came through and we set news highs and new lows. If Trump were still in office and I new capital gains taxes would be staying where they are, I wouldn't have even considered it.

I was actually more disappointed for you guys than me. I actually like others to do well and I try not to get overly optimistic. It was speculation and I was wrong. I'll still share my observations and what I hear. Each person is free to do with it as they may.

I'm good. I would've felt even worse if it was great news and it skyrocketed and I didn't say anything.

Lanxess is still on board.
There have been delays and cash flow issues, but nothing that isn't fixable, it has just delayed things.

I don't know the terms of Lanxess and SLI's agreement but I would think that Lanxess would want priority over Tetra project. I am speculating that this could allow SLI to ramp up work at Tetra site, if they can get funding, without risking relationship with Lanxess. I still think the Lanxess site is superior to Albermarle for a variety of reasons. Albermarle went with a different company for DLE and failed miserably. Only recently have they dipped their toes back in the water after spending billions on traditional, environmentally horrible lithium projects.

I also felt like I should divulge that I did sell some shares and why. I promised I would and I did. I did it in small batches over several days and only sold into rallies. I still have 6 figure share cache. I could've cashed it all in and retired instantly in the $12 range.

I'm pretty thick skinned. No hurt feeling here.

I'm long, I dont care if it goes down or up on a weekly and daily basis. I'm just trying to inject some realism into the thread. My point was the RAPID whiplash from yesterday to today when all this shite was so predictable. This thread is so over-the-top optimistic and there seems to be a lot of people who have not traded stocks for an extremely long time, I feel the need to point out the risk. It can only help in the long run.

Thanks for what you do, man. I’ve made some really good money on this play very largely as a result of work you and others added to this thread.

I am down on them for not providing more info or being more transparent, but the technology is there. I am certainly not down on them because you took some profit. Thanks

My mid night piss breaks don’t have a schedule fortunately.
If I’m posting at German open, its because I’m on nights at the plant, one of the few perks of shift work.
