Outstanding hagiography.
See if you can spot the biggest issue (which led me to email the author).

quote:

Before moving to Minneapolis for a job opportunity through a Christian work program, the 46-year-old spent almost his entire life in the historically black Third Ward, where he was called “Big Floyd” and regarded as an “OG,” a de-facto community leader and elder statesmen, his ministry partners say.

Floyd spoke of breaking the cycle of violence he saw among young people and used his influence to bring outside ministries to the area to do discipleship and outreach, particularly in the Cuney Homes housing project, locally known as “the Bricks.”

“George Floyd was a person of peace sent from the Lord that helped the gospel go forward in a place that I never lived in,” said Patrick PT Ngwolo, pastor of Resurrection Houston, which held services at Cuney.

quote:

Ngwolo and fellow leaders met Floyd in 2010. He was a towering 6-foot-6 guest who showed up at a benefit concert they put on for the Third Ward. From the start, Big Floyd made his priorities clear.

Perhaps in the Black Community one can be an armed robber, thief, drug addict and general frick up and still be sent by the Lord to be a role model for the even more fricked up. No one is perfect.

Kinda hard to meet someone in 2010 who was serving 5 years in prison unless they were doing prison ministry ...

quote:

His last case was an aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon charge in 2007, which resulted in a conviction and a five-year prison sentence.

NBC Reference on Prison Stint

Another reference showing he'd be in prison in 2010 ...

quote:

Floyd pleaded guilty to the first degree felony and was sentenced in April 2009 to five years in prison.

Why does the black community look to guys like Floyd as leaders? Should a black young man look up to Floyd, or a black business man who “made it out”. Which example should that young man follow? Sadly we know the usual answer

Who had to flee Houston to Minneapolis to start a new life because of a terrible reputation.

No matter what the facts are, he will be lionized as a respectable martyr.

that one guy blasted Christians who said you have to have a great life to be loved 'I am done with them"

no one is saying we can't love Floyd

what we're saying is you can't burn America over a guy that was always giving the law and law enforcement a problem to deal with....and consider him worthy of respect when he dies on the scene...from either a knee, meth or covid

Blacks take the knee and burn America over one act with limited knowledge of the situation...

total disaster

we're never going to heal...and I am getting to a point where I am ok with that result

I tired of being told I am privileged and the problem...I am minding my own business

I don't know you, you don't me

This is a targeted result: Active destruction by zionism.

We need to grow some fricking balls and return to Crusader Christianity. The true faith.

That seems like a lot of BS for Floyd was in Houston prison for awhile and a lot.

Christian work program my . George most likely did anything to get to his next meth pipe.

I guess we all have to prepare for a 2 week glorifying of a druggie; as the democrats use his funeral as their convention.

If this wayward druggie happen to not be black none of the dems would GAF.

I doubt that the lady who endured him sticking a gun in her stomach when he broke into her house to rob her feels the same thing. The cop was wrong, but let's be honest about things.

Was this before or after the home invasion where he put the gun to the woman's stomach?
