Eh, we've all done dumb things or taken risks as teenagers knowing it's probably going to end bad, but it seems like the thing to do at the time. Social media coupled with outrage/cancel culture is just a shitty combination for these kids. Is it inappropriate? Absolutely. Is it more outrageous than anything teens did 25 years ago? Not really. They're kids who don't have any real insight into life as a whole, but for some reason we have to treat this as if they're some 40 year old pulling the same shite.
