Have a federal lab do a third autopsy. Whoever is correct, congratulations, you did your job. Whoever is wrong, charge them with fraud, then for good measure strip them of their medical degree.

Also edit your title that this is family autopsy not original autopsy

Floyd's cause of death to be the "combined effects of Mr. Floyd's being restrained by police, underlying health conditions and any potential intoxicants in his system."
That's not a cause of death at all.

For the record, the original autopsy does NOT contradict this. The original one only rules out traumatic asphyxiation. Meaning George's lungs and windpipe were intact. Positional asphyxia is totally different, and likely how he died.

Dr. Allecia Wilson, director of autopsy and forensic sciences at the university of Michigan, said Monday that evidence shows that George Floyd died of mechanical asphyxia.
“We acknowledge that additional medical information including toxicology and further investigation are necessary for a final report, however, the evidence is consistent with mechanical asphyxia as the cause of death and homicide as the manner of death,” she said.
A preliminary autopsy mentioned by authorities in charging documents filed against former Minneapolis police Officer Derek Chauvin found “no physical findings that support a diagnosis of traumatic asphyxia or strangulation.”
Authorities said Floyd had likely died from a combination of being restrained by police, underlying health conditions and "any potential intoxicants in his system.”
that's a bit more than a "family" autopsy, no?
the first ME said being restrained by police played a role, the second autopsy confirmed it
There's essentially nothing to see here as this confirms what every unbiased and rational person already knew.

Just a statement of fact based on your posting.

Interesting that this family autopsy is different than the original one.
This can be used on either side of the argument.

In contradiction to preliminary autopsy results shared by authorities in charging documents filed against former Minneapolis police Officer Derek Chauvin, a doctor said Monday that results from an independent autopsy show George Floyd had no underlying medical problems that caused or contributed to his death.
Dr. Michael Baden said at a news conference that the determination was made on information from Floyd’s family, who said he was in good health.

Can't we all agree that this guy would have just dropped dead at the same time and at the same location anyway if he never interacted with the cops? That's what I've come to understand from all this.

Can we get the best two out of three.

....And vice versa for the state's medical examiner....so your point is moot!

we already kinda did
two pathologists who say he definitely died from being restrained in the manner he was
and one county ME who agrees that was at least part of the reason

Maybe I'm slow but this is confusing. So did Baden and Alecia whoever agree? Or are all 3 autopsies saying something different?

Except, there's really no such thing.
"The studies do not support the contention that ventilation is significantly comprised, regardless of being placed prone and restrained; being restrained hogtied or placed in a prone position, with or without weight on the back; or restrained, hogtied, and exposed to pepper spray. From a medical perspective, these studies reveal that there is no evidence that the hogtied position, in and of itself plays a risk factor for asphyxia. Collectively, the studies conclude that the prone restraint position, nor the hogtied restrained position, with or without weight force, contributed to abnormal pulmonary function, hypoxemia (deficient oxygenation of the blood), hypoventilation (decreased lung ventilation), or hypercapnia (excessive amounts of carbon dioxide in the blood) sufficient to cause asphyxia. Moreover, the findings are supported by prior work on exercise physiology which indicates that arterial oxygenation improves rather than decreases with moderate exercise in healthy people (Levitzy, 1995; Wasserman, et al. 1994)."
"The physiological science of restraint not only clarifies that the restraint position or restraint procedures fail to support a sudden death from ventilatory compromise but also reveal that other more significant factors are more likely to contribute to a sudden violent restraint death. Other factors such as excited delirium, drug intoxication, mental illness, stress, trauma, and catecholamine hyperstimulation, are considered to be factors playing the most significant role in these sudden deaths (Ross, 1998; Ruttenber, et al., 1997; Wetli, 2006, 2005; Laposata, 1993; Karch, 2008; DiMaio and DiMaio, 2006). Moreover, other studies show that a significant number of individuals who suddenly die after restraint have an abnormally enlarged heart, linked to chronic drug abuse, and have internal organ deficiencies (Herd, 1991; Karch, 2008; Karch and Green, 1995; Karch and Stevens, 1999; Laposata, 1991, 2006)."
