Didn't care about the characters or their fake relationships, took to long to get to the confrontation, and then that was a big let down too. The first one was't great but light years ahead of this steaming pile.

The kids' part of the novel was much better than the adults' as well. And the journey is almost always better than the ending in a King story.

So unintentionally campy. The only time it worked was when they embraced it and went comedic ("Angel of the Morning" scene comes to mind ).

It's actually quite common with sequels

I saw the reunion dinner scene the other night before I changed channels and it was so cringey watching them pretend to be old friends

I just watched this the other day, I had no idea it was that bad of a movie.

The adult part of the story has always been way less compelling.

It was bad, and virtue signaling by making Ritchie gay was awful.

If Fukunaga had written and directed both parts 1 and 2, it would have been much, much better.

First was good. Second one wasn't. Extremely disappointed in it.

Not sure, ending was a disappointment though, I enjoyed it up until after the conversation between Beverly and Mrs Kersch. That creeped me.

The movie was not bad

Just saying your a clown over n over to kill him that was fricking lame and a let down

Still solid movie

Good cast a ton of good IT scenes I do wish they spent at least 5 min more lol explaining the indian tribe and his origin

I personally couldn't even stand the first movie.

It was extremely disjointed and felt like a 2 hour collection of jump scare scenes.

The CGI when pennywise ate off Georgie's arm was atrocious.

I thought Chapter 2 was ok, but nowhere near the quality of the first.

The two major errors for me were, first, underutilizing Pennywise in favor of CGI monsters. The scenes Pennywise was in, like the little girl under the bleachers, were some of the most genuinely scary.

Second, they needed to edit length badly. The middle section with the quests was repetitive and dragged. The old lady was creepy, but the rest were lacking.

The ending was weak, but that's the book. That's another area where editing would have helped a lot. It just dragged on without adding things.

They also could have completely cut the Henry subplot for time because it didn't change anything.
