For those of you who get outraged, is your outrage equal or selective?

Revised:
My point is that we as humans need to be consistent in our outrage. Don’t wait for media to show you what to be outraged over. Take initiative & express outrage over ANY HUMAN killed by anyone. When you play selective outrage you contribute to division & the race wars narrative.

I don’t have any outrage when it comes to race. But what that cop in Minnesota did to Mr. Floyd absolutely pisses me off.
Government overreach outrages me.

I don't typically express outrage about any of those things. People do terrible things. Stay out of situations that increase your chances of people doing terrible things to you.

Its IDGAF and it's high

I like to think it’s equal.
Then I‘ll occasionally step outside myself and realize that, like most people, it’s selective more often than not.
Sorry, not sorry. It’s all part of being human.

A person kills a person in selfdefense ... no outrage.
A person kills a person in defense of others ... no outrage.
A person kills a person who is handcuffed by kneeling on his neck until he's so obviously dead that bystanders scream "check his pulse" ... outrage.

you are not consistent in your outrage and are only outraged when the media tells you to be outraged then you are a hypocrite.
This!!!
I’m all for the policing system to be overhauled! It’s safe to say, that we all agree there are some police officers tgat don’t need to be wearing a badge. There needs to be a better system to select and have them wear a badge. More aptitude test, more non lethal weapons, more body cams etc. But if your selective in your outrage...you are part of the problem!
Few years ago, during Michael Brown shooting, we saw people all over Social Media, MSM and celebs voicing frustration, “something needed to be done”, and Micah Xavier Johnson did something. Those same celebs and virtue signalers went silent...deafening silence!
One year Before Michael browm, Dillion taylor was unarmed and shot dead, body cam footage, but he was white...nothing. Another guy, One month before Michael brown, a gas station called police bc there was a suspicious character in the parking lot. Police roll up, ask the teenage white kid to get on his knees, he complies. He’s wearing saggy jean tgat keep falling, so he pulls them up. Officer pulls gun and tells him to keep hands up. Guy pulls jean back up and black cop fires two rounds into his chest, killing him, body cam footage, He was unarmed and committed no crime. Barely a mention in MSM and no virtue signaling or rioting.
Want to fix the problem...stop being selective and silent when this happens to other races.

We kill close to a million babies a year in this country alone, legally.
People want to take the high ground when there is none.
As far as i'm concerned, some of everyone's tax dollars goes to fund PP and to colleges that teach BS. We are all guilty.
We should all be storming the castle for whats happening in this country.
Keep the guns clean and enjoy the show till it comes to my door.
If we can't protect the innocent, none of us should be protected.
Nah, I ain't mad.

Do you express equal outrage when:
A black person kills a black person?
A black person kills a white person?
A black person kills a asian person?
A black person kills a hispanic person?
A white person kills a black person?
A white person kills a white person?

I got your selective outrage right here. Nice and in-tact

I'm an ethnic Cajun. If the cops killed an unarmed Cajun suspect like that I would feel justified to break into a Sporting Goods store and steal all the Titleist ProV1 balls I could carry. It's called justice.

I am more upset when a cop murders someone, an FBI agent lies and tries to set up someone, or a public official steals money ftom the taxpayers. I get more upset when a thug murders a 90 year old woman to steal her check and I find out the judge and DA let him walk from half a dozen previous crimes. I get upset when I hear about innocents killed in s drug shootout because they happened to be in the vicinity.
But I do not get as upset when a thug kills another thug. I don’t get upset when a thug is killed legally.
Race makes no difference,

People tend to get "outraged" over what is placed in front of them.
Certain things get wall to wall news coverage. Certain things do not. You rarely see "outrage" on the latter regardless of how bad it is and you tend to see outrage on the former in a completely out of proportion to reality manner.

My outrage is selective. Idc about skintone. I only get outraged when children are senselessly killed or harmed.
Around the time of the Ferguson riots, I read an article about a drive by shooting that took the life of a little girl.. in st Louis. It didn't get national coverage. It pissed me off to no end. Little girl minding her own business is shot dead...and it's not considered a big deal when compared to a big arse, nfl defensive tackle sized dude getting killed after he tried to kill a cop.

Outrage is justified when someone gets away with something that you would be drawn and quartered for.

I just let CNN tell me what I should be outraged about.
