Nah, us millennials haven't had to survive the Great Depression and World War II back to back.

That dude doesn't know how a computer works, I really doubt he could make one, even with a kit.

Hey kids, instead of improving domestic infrastructure, we're going to spend trillions of dollars and waste thousands of lives pursuing pointless ends and playing world police in the Middle East! Hope you enjoy your cell phone games though!

I feel for people losing jobs.
But, as far as "Zoomers" getting hit by job losses.
Most are service jobs, low pay, not career jobs.
It's sad to lose job as a waiter/waitress.
It's worse for a 45 y.o. engineer with 2 kids.

boomers are the only generation to want their kids to have a worse life than them.

I’m going to go 1920 as a crap birth year. Teenage years straight through the Great Depression just to get sent to war when you reached adulthood.
The 1895 kids, who went to war just to come back and get the Spanish Flu anyway are also pretty tough.

Lol. I'd much rather be a millennial today than some fricking farmer in the dust bowl during the depression. Or just about any other place on earth prior to 1900.
People make up shite to complain about these days. That's when you know you've got it made.
I think the comparison is made with those current, living generations.

Hilarious ! Can you imagine if you were born in 1925 ? No A/C, want chicken ? kill it in the back yard !, the Great Depression, WWII, the assassination of a President, Vietnam, race riots, crime, AND the two recent economic 'slowdowns' and pandemic. This is my mom's life so far. Youngsters should feel very fortunate

Boomers are generally awful.

They just want us to work harder than normal so someone can pay their social security benefits because they didn’t plan well enough for retirement.

Don't most Millennials live with their parents

Here’s the thing about the Americans: we were fighting in that war for less than a year. Even as brutal as WWI was, they got off light compared to their grandparents in the Civil War and their kids in WWII.

I'd hope that most don't. They are 25-39 years old.

Is that the only thing that impacts generations?

but why if you agree that economics and finance are not the only factors that affect generations?
if the article wanted to be taken seriously, maybe don't make such a click bait headline next time?

Great to see 1980 considered millennials. I’ve always felt like 80 should be the cutoff and not 1981.
