New York's numbers are over the top, and they made some mistakes, but if you look at the numbers, northern states have lower numbers than southern states, in general.

Per capita, the top 7 states in cases are north of the Mason-Dixon Line.

Go by the total number of cases, 6 of the top 7 states are northern states, broken up by only California.

California has a debt of $54 billion?!?! Hahaha! Not even close. California‘s debt is over half a trillion dollars.

New York's disastrous policy as it pertains to retirement homes is the direct result of more death. The question then comes, was it incompetence or an incentivized nature that caused this outcome?

I'd guess that is the deficit for the year. Texas and Florida are labeled as balanced and I guarantee they have debt, just without a deficit.

High population density combined with being an international transit hub and having fricking retarded politicians keeping things open well after they should have closed them is a bad combination.

Texas has high population densities in Houston and DFW, with international airports. The major difference is that when Trump banned China and European flights, the Texas Governor followed that order, and Governor Cuomo refused to cooperate. Cuomo allowed thousands and thousands from hot spots around the world for weeks, before agreeing to cooperate after it was too late.

Maybe its because their idiot governor sent covid-19 positive patients back into nursing homes. I mean, the fact that people are not coming unglued about this dude's stupidity is beyond logical understanding.

I mean all he did was just threw gas on the fire, how was he to know it would turn into an inferno?

This really needs to get reported more... I doubt it will ever get the attention that it deserves but Cuomo is probably more responsible for the spread of this virus in the U.S. than any other one individual...

If Cuomo and DeBlasio were republicans they would be roasted.

That, along with never closing the subways and forcing nursing homes to take Covid positive patients. Total incompetence running the show in NYC and the state house in Albany.

And even here in Florida, the "hot zones" were limited to the democratically controlled area around Miami-Dade county, which is full of low grade, Mariel boat lift Cuban thugs, drug dealers and other undesirables from shithole countries (read South America and Haiti, etc.). Do we see a consistent pattern here. Manhattan, Miami, Detroit, New Orleans vs the rest of Florida and most of Texas.

None of the other major cities or rural, republican controlled areas has seen any major outbreak. Most of the bad behavior is coming from the African American community who have been violating the gathering orders and have shot several police offices in Deland Florida (the media won't cover it, look it up).

I wonder how these workers got the virus so quickly in the middle of nowhere? What if the virus was released on the workers by the Chinese company to put pressure on the food supply chain. Would this be an act of war?
