SIAP, just shows to show how stupid and biased the media is by them praising Newsome and Cuomo and claiming that DeSantis and Abbott have done a bad job.

The number of cases for NY is rather insane.

you'd hope that all 4 states would have a much higher morality rate

ETA: Based on the downvotes, I'm assuming some people can't read

High population density combined with being an international transit hub and having fricking retarded politicians keeping things open well after they should have closed them is a bad combination.

This is probably the biggest contributing factor in the entire chart...

And not a single state income tax was found in the 2 states that are doing pretty damn good right now.

"Morality rate". We're quite immoral in the US these days.

Umm...What is “morality rate?” Did you make this cute little spread sheet yourself? Also, New York has that many cases b/c of the density of the population, like prisons and retirement homes. Same type of places you’ve had trouble controlling, @GovAbbott

Yea TX doesn't have prisons or nursing homes.

So roughly 1/3 of the US deaths come from NY? That's crazy. I wonder how many are nursing home deaths.

It's funny when the lockdown crowd melts about people voluntarily going back to work and spend lol They act like it's by force of a gun.

Abbott is a big reason why I'm very happy to live in Texas. Great governor.

That was pretty amazing. We even have a Texas prison museum in Huntsville.

I think part of the reason for lower numbers in Florida, Texas, and California is the warmer temperatures. This tweet illustrates that and tells us that summer is going to beat this thing down. We need to get out, now, because staying at home during the summer is might make the numbers look better, but will set us up for a brutal fall/winter corona comeback.

Or not forcing nursing homes to take in positive cases.

New York's numbers are over the top, and they made some mistakes, but if you look at the numbers, northern states have lower numbers than southern states, in general.

What is crazy about New York is the death rate. Seems like the numbers are manipulated.
