Mandeville - steady rain, light to moderate with constant lightning and house shaking thunder.

Light street flooding, ditches creeping up yards.

frickin quit already.

Everyone on the Northshore is acting like I acted in the 17th straight hour of Harvey rain.

It's gonna be OK, guys.

It keeps fricking with my alarm. My wife was convinced we had a break in, so she made me sweep the whole house with a gun. Too much excitement.

Is it commonplace for people not to be able to sleep during storms?

Never been an issue for me in my 35 years on this planet.

We have one rule in my house with the dogs. Don't give the puppy people food. Big dogs can eat whatever. Puppy can only have bread, lean meat or starchy items.

Gf gave him chicken legs.

Puppy proceeded to firehose two gallons of liquid shite all over hia kennel, the wall, everywhere.

So... I'm awake.

That's my favorite time to sleep. What kind of pussy can't fall asleep during a thunderstorm?

Sleep when we're dead, right?

ETA: We are in a drought here. It's been months of cloudless, blue skies.
