For appropriate context, here is the area in which the incident took place. Per the police report, the actual shooting took place at the intersection of Satilla Drive and Holmes Road . Note that the neighborhood is a small peninsula surrounded on three sides by water. There was no place for Ahmaud Arbery to go. All that was necessary was to remain at the intersection of Satilla Drive and Zellwood Drive. It is the only entrance into the area. Per the Glynn County Police Department Incident Report, Ahmaud Arbery was chased at least once back up Satilla Drive before he ran back down towards Burford Road and the struggle ensued with Travis McMichael. He was already cornered.

Just take your ball and go home if it bothers you so much to be bad at the game.

Just letting you know that your ability to frustrate others is due to your unwavering devotion to a "side" rather than anything to do with your correctness or mental capabilities.

Are you the self-anointed arbiter of unbiased speculation this incident?

Yea, everyone knows legs can only run on paved roads.

Not saying that meant confront him like they did, but pretending that just because you have one or two intersections blocked and that means he's "cornered" is silly.

Unless he planned on swimming across the South Brunswick River, yeah, he was cornered.

They armed themselves and chased him with two vehicles through the neighborhood. At one point, Sr. exits the vehicle and then gets back in the truck.

Based on the initial incident report, Arbery doubled back maybe three times trying to escape them.

Why did the Senior McMichaels lie saying they pulled up next to him? Why did the Senior McMichaels initially get out of the truck? When did the videographer join the pursuit?

Good lord the irony.

Wait and see what happens isn’t a side.

Your definition of "wait and see":

Arguing that Arbery committed a felony
quote:

Entering a dwelling with intent to steal is a felony I. Georgia.
Framing Arbery as the aggressor, and squeezing in "legal" before arrest, which is far from a given.
quote:

So the persons who assault a citizen attempting a legal arrest aren’t charged with assault?
Arguing that the use of unreasonable force is not relevant!
quote:

quote:

Nor were weapons "reasonable force" in dealing with a guy on foot when they were in a truck. He wasn't going to outrun them. If nothing else, they could have simply followed him until the cops caught up.
Not relevant.

Don't try to act like you haven't chosen a "side".

Never happened. I defined what would theoretically be a felony given we are discussing a case where all facts are not known.

Never happened. I stated if someone is performing a legal action in a legal manner they are not the aggressor.

Never happened, I argued that it’s not relevant that they had the option to follow him until the cops got there as they aren’t required to.

I haven’t.

I’m sorry your emotions preclude you from

Ah, ok. You are just defining words, not suggesting that Arbery committed a felony in an attempt to justify the arrest, right? Meanwhile, you deride me for defining "aggravated assault" and demonstrating how we know that took place given the facts we DO know.

Never happened. I stated if someone is performing a legal action in a legal manner they are not the aggressor.
Again just defining random things, not making any statements, eh? What do you think you are adding to the conversation, then?

You very clearly dismissed the fact that unreasonable force was used as "not relevant".

Doesn't concern me one way or the other. I would just expect that when someone makes a statement, they have a reason for doing so and own that reason. Otherwise, you're just saying shite for the sake of arguing, and when pressed on the implication of your statements you will crawfish.

Dude had a criminal record and was out burglarizing homes. It caught up with him, end of his story.

You rob peoples homes you get the axe.
