There's a lot more info out there. It happened Feb 23rd at 1 pm. One of the shooters was a former police investigator. They say there had been break-ins in the area and they saw the jogger doing something suspicious at one of the construction sites so they confronted him. They are using the citizen's arrest law to justify the shooting. This article has more details on the police report:

Georgia prosecutors said Tuesday they plan to present evidence to a grand jury for possible charges against men who chased, and eventually gunned down, an unarmed black man they believed was a burglar — but whose family say was simply jogging.
quote:
The men who chased down Arbery have been identified by police as Brunswick resident Gregory McMichael, 64, and his son Travis McMichael, 34.
The older McMichael, with his .357 Magnum and his son, with a shotgun, told police they believed Arbery might be a burglar and chased him in their truck.
After the men caught up with Arbery, there was a fatal confrontation.
quote:
"McMichael stated (that) the unidentified male began to violently attack Travis and the two men then started fighting over the shotgun at which point Travis fired a shot and then a second later there was a second shot,” according to a a Glynn County police report.

I’m sure this will having nothing but the truth in it, and that there will not be any retracted statements.

They’re going to jail for a very long time.

If they did chase this innocent guy down then kill him, fry them.

Those hillbillies need to be dealt with by however Arberys family chooses.

Shaun King is a dogshit human being and I sincerely hope that his crimes against our social fabric catch up with him in some just way.
Regardless of whether the killing was justified, this sounds avoidable.

Jesus Christ what the frick
That is sickening.
And this is coming from someone who doesn’t believe an ounce of what black lives matters says.

From what I’ve read about it sounds like these guys are fricked IMO

They're pieces of shite for chasing him and shooting him, even if he was a burglar.
But it's not a "lynching" with all that word implies.

Seems the confrontation with weapons was avoidable. Those two put themselves in that situation when they should have let the police handle it. Even if jogger was breaking in, this situation didn’t happen while he was being caught in the act . Both parties are in the wrong, now you have a guy dead and the two other guys should be in jail. Nobody wins here.

The dude was obviously jogging down the road.

With the limited info, these 2 idiots are fricked and rightfully so.

I’ll say this, why was the guy holding his phone and filming before the truck was visible in the road. Something happened before this video started that we didn’t see.
Regardless there is no need to block the road and act like Johnny law with your guns drawn on someone who is unarmed. That’s way over the top.

They need to put a bullet in each one of them and be done with them.

This is strikingly similar to the Trayvon case...why would they go to jail when Zimmer didn’t?
