Lit the grill tonight for some fresh caught cobia gifted to us. Also grilled carrots glazed with honey/soy/garlic. And German potato salad.

Chinese take-out.
Bizarre transaction. Doors were locked, so I called the number posted on the door.
Lady: "You want food?"
Me: "Order for Mrs4Lsu2".
Lady: "You pay on phone?"
Me: "I have cash."
Lady: "How much cash?"
Me: "How much is the order?"
Lady: "$44.92. How much you pay?"
Me: "I have $60."
Lady: "How much you want back?"
Me: "Just give me a 10."
Lady walks to the door to unlock it, puts the bag on the floor and points at the floor with the $10.
Me:"Do you want my $60?"
Lady points at the sidewalk and utters the words through here mask: "Leave it there."
I placed $60 on the sidewalk, got into the truck, and waited 4 minutes to see if she would retrieve it. No such luck, so I drove off. Neither of the kids will eat said Chinese food this evening.

Homemade chicken salad. Poached some boneless skinless breasts yesterday and had one left over. Diced it up with half of a pink lady apple, a handful of chopped toasted pecans, and some mayo and Edmund Fallot tarragon mustard. Handful of original triscuits on the side.

Philly cheese stuffed portobello.
Roasted the portobello first in oil and garlic. Onions and hot peppers in with some good ole steak umms. Mixed in a little mayo and cream cheese after cooked and topped with provolone.

Threw some wings on the grill, basted with buffalo sauce, some oven fries and blue cheese dressing. It was quite a treat. :)
