Probably so. It’s not a 100% accurate test

So IDK if I'm happy or sad for you.
Is it one that Ochsner developed? I ask as the state Dr. Buillot (sp?) said that Louisiana will work on their own test and I was thinking but why reinvent the wheel??

You should just go buy your own Patron. And chips and salsa as well.

Age/Cases/Deaths/Mortality
<18 349 (+7) 1 (0) 0.29%
18-29 3,132 (+52) 8 (0) 0.26%
30-39 4,371 (+65) 35 (0) 0.80%
40-49 4,754 (+54) 64 (+1) 1.35%
50-59 5,347 (+62) 164 (+1) 3.07%
60-69 4,677 (+46) 331 (+4) 7.08%
70+ 5,030 (+88) 1,199 (+38) 23.84%
We have to stop the 70+ bracket from getting it. Their mortality is ridiculously high.

Do we have a net per day count? healed vs new cases?
Posted on 4/29/20 at 12:44 pm to shawnlsu
The healed has only came out twice. They don’t update it with any regularity.

No one believes there were actually 1800 people killed by the virus.

You can’t keep it out of nursing homes & once it’s there it’s going to spread
In a perfect world there would be procedures in place to stop it but that’s not Louisiana

Because there are asymptomatic carriers you really can't stop it unless you test your entire nursing home and their staff and keep everyone quarantined. Even then, one bonehead can ruin it for an entire nursing home

I just checked in with our admin -- the few who were negative are now showing signs and I didn't ask but assume that they will be reswabbed. I'll be surprised if we don't end up with nearly 100% infection rate of residents.
That said, some who seemed to be the most compromised are still with us. I'm ready to see my people again.

Damn. Total Cases keeps mysteriously going up.

I guess I'm just dumb but the more tests done, the more cases will go up. It would seem that hospitalizations would be the thing to look at. This is the lowest hospitalization number we've had since April 2 if I looked at it correctly.
What am I not getting? Cases will keep going up and he will keep extending the two weeks!

Updated with today's data.
For region 6 new cases. The 7 day rolling average kicked off an 8. Tomorrow will be another jump because we are kicking off a 2. It should level off afterwards around 12-15

No. That would show how not bad things are.

Any idea on the accuracy of the test? As in I'm assuming it's specific to covid19 and no other coronavirus that you may have had and have immunity from?
And was it just a finger prick? Like for a glucometer?
they look at 3 different thresholds..or something like that...they drew blood from my arm..i was told something like 98% accurate.
