Blaming your drinking on "circumstances" or anything else is a sure sign of being an alcoholic.
Do something, be constructive

I assembled a beautiful old Honda 70cc engine this evening... While enjoying some bourbon, a cigar, and a little reggae

I quit drinking alcohol over a year ago.
I couldn't imagine being hungover everyday with all the crap happening right now.

Drinking wasn’t meant for women and children

I stopped drinking during this pandemic. It is to easy to fall into the trap of drinking for boredom.

Who in here drinks liquor every night due to the circumstances? I usually do 6 drinks and start at 5 in the evening. I try to do one an hour. Have we all became alcoholics or just me? :(
i don't know that i do 6 but 3 or 4 is about what i do. beer after work, glass of wine or two w/ dinner and then maybe one more after the kids go to bed while watching TV. it doesn't feel like a lot but i hear other folks say they don't drink at all M-F because of hangovers. Part of me says am i just better at not drinking to excess? Can other people not hold their liquor? I mean i'm still up at 6am to exercise or work.
