Most of these black mayors have zero interest in being actual mayors. They just want a title and perks. Management isn't on their radar.

Let's start coming up with new PR slogans for New Orleans.

New Orleans: Like Haiti, but with none of the beaches.

FIFY

NOLA has plenty of charm and it has plenty of culcha in the areas that are lacking in charm. So your original statement is most inaccurate.

Looks like LaToya has been reading Tigerdroppings:

Hard Rock "Fact" Sheet - City of New Orleans
quote:

"From the outset, the City has been clear: 1031 is responsible for the collapse, for the consequences of the collapse and for demolishing the partially collapsed building," said Mayor LaToya Cantrell. "The City has been more than patient as 1031 has failed, multiple times, to engage a qualified demolition contractor and propose a safe and acceptable demolition plan. But the City’s patience is not unlimited. 1031 Canal must be held accountable for their collapsed building, and their time is up."

"The City shares the frustration of our residents, and fully acknowledges that this property cannot remain in its current state and must be addressed immediately — via a safe and well-developed demolition plan," said City Attorney Sunni LeBeouf. "The remains of the deceased workers must also be returned to their families. All of New Orleans continues to suffer as a result of this collapsed building, and further delay is not an option.”

The Kailas family’s repeated shift in direction has led to six months of delays in fulfilling its legal obligation to demolish the building, cycling through multiple contractors without moving a demolition forward to date:

They should surround the entire area with blue tarps and make it a tourist attraction. Install a Tower of Terror type ride with live gunfire. Charge admission and shite.

The amount of excuses they have for doing nothing is astonishing.

Bingo you’re the winner. She knows the risks associated with bringing that building down that’s why the contact with DH Griffin was terminated. The city used all their tax money to take down statues

Wait. We were told no tax dollars would be spent on that.

Are you suggesting the government lied to the people?!

Um, it's 1031 Canal, not the Hard Rock...

I guess The Hard Rock put the kybosh on calling it "The Hard Rock Hotel... I've noticed all the news outlets calling it that now...

.......and the descent of NOLA into abyss of insanity continues. You know this is really disturbing. They can't even recover the bodies of those poor workers. What's the big deal? Send somebody in there to get those bodies out.

Appalling.
