Anyone can say anything on the internet
As long as the initial disclosures show the offer they said and your value comes in then you are all good
Just need to fund before the lock date

I’m seeing mixed reviews all over so it’s got me nervous/skeptical AF.
The tendency is to complain when something goes wrong, and do nothing for a positive or neutral experience.
It’s really only restaurants where this doesn’t hold true.

Right. I’ve actually read a lot of the reviews, and most seem to be around oddball scenarios. Inherited properties with cash out refi, poor credit, typical harassing autocalls/emails, etc. Otherwise, I’ve never thought twice about giving a review to my mortgage company.
I was just curious if anyone has dealt with them personally. Just making sure they are a legit company and not going to create issues. The rate is supposedly locked in, and I should get the official [initial] CD today.

That makes my 3.00% lock look terrible. Unique circumstance that allowed this?

Otherwise cost a bunch to buy down or has an enormous amount of money with a bank and they gave him a deal

Didn’t hurt that my wife and my credit scores are over 800

Anyone know a good place to start for looking into a bridge loan (on the Northshore)? Had a contingent offer ready to get signed, then a succession we were told was done got thrown into the mix with a 45 day delay. Probably doing a 10 yr mortgage but would like to have a bridge loan approval in my back pocket just in case.

No one really does bridge loans anymore. Be curious to see as well if you find someone to do it.

I'll have 3.25 on a new construction if things stay the same by the time my house is finished. If not I'm at least locked at 4.
