Says long ways out on a vaccine too.

These people are clueless. No chance I'm getting a rushed out vaccine. This whole Corona thing is such a hoax. Open up the economy already.

"Normal" is how things were before this whole thing.

Of course that isn't happening anytime soon.

That doesn't mean he's saying the state will be shut down until there's a vaccine.

There is a middle ground. Continue social distancing and isolating vulnerable, but re-open businesses. It isn't fricking hard.

by May things are going to be really hot with the population

when Texas, MS, etc. opens up around us and we're still in an authoritarian state, you're going to see some reactions

i caught a bit of either his presser from today or an appearance on public radio, and his example was keeping restaurants open, but only having half the tables

aka, no restaurants anymore in the real world

We'll learn to live with this just like we live with the flu, and other illnesses. The vast majority of people will get over it, while the decrepit will die from it.

It's part of life. fricking deal with it.

This is all a big overreaction. People that possess common sense can see that.

This should have been the approach in the first place, but we had a bunch of hysterical nitwits sky screaming for lockdown.

We should petition Texas to annex us. As tribute, I will continue to pay state income tax

I get the impression the only loosening we can expect May 1 will be opening doctor’s offices for appointments and elective surgeries.
