Covid Tests have 30% failure rate

Our friend is a nurse. Sent home to quarantine because a patient, maternity ward, was asymptomatic. Friend has all the symptoms. She was tested twice. Came back negative both times. They said the test has a 30% failure rate. There is no doubt she has the virus. If the stats say 500k has it in the USA it's probably more like 1m+ From the people that aren't tested to the tests failing.

Well, I'm not even sure where to start with this shite show.

COVID-19 is a fake news hoax to implement ID2020

So she was sent home because a patient had no symptoms?

This seems to be true.
My cousin is a doctor in Lafayette and one of her staffers definitely has it, but her test came back negative.. so my cousin finally got the test and it was confirmed.
They both have the same exact symptoms at the same time. They have both been in isolation since.

Yes, which is pretty standard for flu tests. You really need to be tested at least twice and if you get opposite results, 3 times.

bullshite. I sell both the PCR and antibodies test. Both are in the 99%
If she tested negative, they used the antibodies test which only finds antibodies present when you are sympathetic.
If you test before being symptomatic (5th-7th day), its negative, even though the virus may be present.
The ocr test is a magnification of the dna, and is 100% accurate. But the swan must be correctly done.

Good. We can continue to build herd immunity to this virus as more and more people get it and build immunity and antibodies to it, as opposed to making the sick isolate from the rest of us and prolonging the virus’ efficacy

It’s gonna be interesting to see the numbers once they figure a test for the antibodies.
We were in NYC during Mardi Gras, no way we weren’t exposed. I never had symptoms but my kid was pretty sick about 10 days after we returned.

That is exactly what someone who was trying to sell me a COVID test would say

This isn’t true, modalities don’t have a failure rate. At worst their is a contamination of the sample and the sample is rerun (depending on the sample used ie: blood, tox, mucus). The test performed could test for an increase in specific anti bodies in your blood stream (prick test) which could determine you have had COVID. Other tests do similar things but the accuracy is based on the results of the test (Chemistry) - what you’re talking about would be a procedure error by the technician drawing the sample, which probably does have a 30% “failure rate”.
I own a high complexity clinical laboratory that is currently adjusting to the new COVID testing procedures/protocols.
ETA:
Exactly.

Google it PCR(Polymerase Chain Reaction )and Serological(antibody) Testing.
Both accurate as 99% but different PCR is the way to go here to get your best answer on if you have Covid.
Fact our Lab has had 551 seniors 65 an older test possitive for Covid 19. 76% had/ have co-infections(other pathogens).
After this is all done people will realize and are right now waking up to the fact the people who have died from “Covid19” could have had their other pathogen treated allowing the body to naturally fight off the Covid19.
Lots of people have died not doing the proper testing.
Obviously I sell PCR as well

This isn't true. Actually doesn't even make sense. But if he means what I think he's trying to mean, he's spreading complete lies.
This should be deleted and he should be banned.

YNWA is openly rooting for this virus. Gross.

They have between a reported 30% to 60% false negative rate, which means that almost half or more of the people that test negative with these test actually have Covid-19, my daughter among them. Doctors said afterward that she still almost certainly had it and we were to behave and treat her as if she did.
Blood test will tell in time. If you want to know actual rate of contagion then start with the deaths and or hospitalizations and Extrapolate backwards.
We know that around 1 to 3% of people that get Covid 19 die. So for every dead person we know that around 100 people have it, etc

They have a 70-80% accuracy so I don't know what you don't think is true.

Failure rate makes no sense, as explained by people in here
