Muh testing. Trump limited travel from China and Europe didn't. The virus came in the backdoor from Europe. Trump's travel restrictions bought the US time. How great is testing in Europe? They are getting crushed over there.

There are 44 countries in Europe than span the spectrum of effective testing

Every major european nation outside of germany is doing a dogshit job of testing.

It's why their CFRs are so damn high.

On January 31, the same day the United States announced its restrictions, Italy suspended all flights to and from China. But unlike the American restrictions, which did not take effect until February 2, the Italian ban applied immediately.

The U.S. ban applied only to foreign nationals who had been in China during the previous 14 days, and included 11 categories of exceptions. Since the restrictions took effect, nearly 40,000 passengers have entered the United States from China, subjected to inconsistent screenings.

Whoa. Don’t forget Iceland. But it seems like it might be easier to do extensive, proactive testing that when there are only 364,000 people and only 8.8 per square mile.

New York is getting hit hard because every day, hundreds of thousands of people cram into subway trains and don't wear masks, because the city is almost entirely dependent on that mode of transportation.

It's obvious what the problem is, but the MSM will never cover that.

Hindsight is 20/20, every time. We had no way to know, that Italy had already been infected for a couple of weeks, because they didn't even know yet. It all falls back on the Chinese and The WHO. And I don't mean the band.

So you would have preferred the US to ban citizens from returning home?

I stated no opinions of my own. Simply provided facts. Not at all, but due to our insufficient testing, thousands could have slipped through the cracks. Nearly the entire world is struggling with their testing as we all know, but I expected the US to be better. The CDC botched testing initially and delayed us for weeks.

You guys realize the narrative here dont you, this story is on several msm sites now, why, why is it important?

BECAUSE IT TAKES AWAY TRUMPS BIGGEST SELLING POINT BY NEGATING THE FACT HE CUT OFF TRAVEL FROM CHINA.

Yes I realize it started in chini, but that doesnt matter, and neither did the russians hack the dnc, who cares, its the msm narrative that counts.

That’s been known from day 1... they closed down entry from China so it had the other side to come from.

Should have shut down Europe a week before he did

Im telling you this is the narrative.

First, he got the warning from Navarro this could be an epidemic (forget the fact he is an economist not a medical expert, its all Germans when it comes to OMB)

Then he has knowledge that it came from Europe to the US but he just cuts off chini anyway because he is racist and is willing to let Americans die while he leaves travel from Europe in place.

Cue up schiff, nadler, pelosi we have no option but to hold hearings on what he knew and when he knew it....now this will take at least through election day, but darn it the American people must know the truth.

You do realize how much worse it is in Italy and Spain right?
Think of it this way, between the two countries you have 100 million ppl compared to 350 million in the US. On top of that the US is counting all deaths related to the virus and both Italy and Spain are reporting hospital deaths only meaning if you die at home or in a nursing home the death is not counted. Both countries have a death rate over 10% compared to around 3% in the US which suggest that the amount of people infected in these two countries is MUCH more than reported.

I guess we could have had them wait at the airport for...I don't know...a week or so to await the results.
