I'm not from N.O. but last I heard they weren't showing on any IMAX's in LA.

I'm actually trying to be patient. I'm gonna give it about 10 days (I have to be in Lake Chuck for a wedding for a few days anyway), and then I'll go watch it at the IMAX during the afternoon when it'll be a little easier to get tickets / good seats.

I am planning on seeing it at one of the first showings friday morning at the rave by the mall (like the 11am show or something). Would you guys suggest i buy tickets early or will there be seats avalialable at that time due to work, etc...

Me too. I'll probably hold off till about Thursday to buy them for a 9:30 feature. I know it's 2 and a half hours long but I don't want to be there at 7 when everyone and their mother shows up. While at the same time, I don't want to be at the movie theater until 2:30 in the morning either.

I got mine about a month ago. I thought I was going to be in Houston that night and go see it in IMAX but I am going to the midnight shwoing in NOLA.

i didnt know the IMAX in NO was playing it. im going out to LA in a couple weeks and plan on seeing it for the 2nd or 3rd time in IMAX out there. if it is playing in NO it will prolly be there for at least 2-3 weeks. this movie is gonna bank.
