It might be overheating due to lack of ventilation. It's always good to have atleast 8 inches free to all sides for ventilation. This is especially important to the back of the ps4 since that is where the fans exhaust the hot air. Also does the shelf have an opening in the back for the hot air to escape?
How much ventilation do you have around it? Is it in a tight, confined space?

Why was Ickey put in custody? I thought that's what a concealed carry was supposed to do? Fire back to shorten the shooting and quell the shooter. That's what I constantly read atleast... Isn't he a hero?
Yeah, he didn't get the penthouse till he was promoted to the executive position. Before that he was living in the one room hotel where he fell asleep every night to gun shots.

Interesting points. I can definitely see the regretting giving away 18 years of his life down the line. I also see the angle of 'if I knew then what I know now'.

Edited because Teddy beat me to the question.
This is a cross post from a thread that was in the O-T Lounge but I wanted to get y'all's opinion on a question that I had.

What do you think Josh's adult life is like. I thought about this when I watched it a little while ago. How mad is he going to be when he grows up, goes to college, and can not land the same caliber of job he gave up as a kid? He had a dream set up. Good money, extravagant penthouse in Manhattan, a job he loved, and a boss that thought he could do no wrong, and a nice, intelligent, and good looking woman.

What do you think a sequel would look like? My take would be dark where the best job he can land is some crappy job he hates and he goes on a killing spree. Then Again I am a cynical guy.

Kind of fun to think of "Falling Down" as the sequel to big?

What was even more unbelievable is how a freakin kid gets an executive level job, making mad bank.

Interesting. One thing I would point out is that it is even cheaper for them to have them in D-league. The salary is not

40-50k
as you state but actually

$25,500, $19,000 and $13,000
.

salary information
While I am not sure if it can be done through the 360. If it could you would need to use the browser.

However, if you have a laptop (with a HDMI, dvi, or vga. I would say HDMI would be the easiest and best), you can hook your laptop to your tv. Just run an HDMI cord from your laptop HDMI output to your TV hdmi input.

Only quoting a portion of the quote in hopes that it is understood by the readers to mean something completely different than intended due to a lack of situational context. You sir have a great future in 24 hour news media.
quote:

-Definitely addicted to technology...good lord they will not stop messing with their phones. I think a lot of people, regardless of age, are having trouble with putting their smartphones down, but 18-22 year-olds elevate distraction to an art form. There have been times where I've had to give one of them a nudge and a "are you kidding me?" look because they're messing with their phones while a highly respected professional is addressing them as a small group.

-Lack of soft skills like punctuality. I think this goes hand in hand with technology. Kids these days have so much information at their fingertips that they don't feel the need to honor commitments or prepare. Decide you don't want to meet someone anymore? No problem! Just send them a quick text "hey i had something come up. sorry :(". Even though email is still fairly new, email etiquette is disintegrating quickly because they all use social media to communicate. I was dumbfounded to learn that some students only check their email once a week. My response was "You know that when you get a job, your boss isn't going to send you assignments via Facebook right?"

-Cannot think critically. I think this is an indictment of No Child Left Behind and the rise of standardized testing. I joke to people that if I told one of my students to drive their car from one place to another and they ran out of gas on the way there, they would complain that I never told them they had to stop to fill up. They have a great deal of trouble getting from point A to point C without providing them with point B as a guide. They always want to know exactly what they need to do. Implied tasks don't exist anymore with this generation. I think schools are doing kids a disservice with all this standardized testing BS. Teachers just tell students exactly what they need to know for the tests. The student follow directions and study what the teachers tell them to.

UGATiger26 gets it. I too reinforce that these are generalizations and do not apply to all. But as a College Professor, I can definitely agree with the third aspect. I do not think critical thinking is all but lost. However, no child left behind has taken it out of the classroom environment. Education is now unfortunately about rote learning and the end degree outweighs the means (education) of getting there. Students want a roadmap and do not understand that the true factor of an education is the ability to add something to knowledge and not just follow it.
quote:

I think you guys are over thinking It. He lost his daughter and for a brief moment he found her again and has hope that he will see her again. The one thing I'm so confused about and it now just seems like cannon fodder is the tape. How did the cult, and the horrible tape factor into the present day killer?

I think you hit the nail on the head. Rust was in the darkness of believing he had lost his daughter forever and for no reason. Him having the experience brought him to the notion that she is not lost and they will be eventually reunited. His character can now move on. His despair and pessimism was hinged on the fact that what he cherished most was lost to him forever. He found out that is not true.

Regarding the tape. It is a shout out to the "yellow king" mythos that the writer used so much. In the "yellow king" there is a play that if you watch the whole thing you will go mad. For me that is why they made it such a big point for their maniacal screaming when Hart and Childress watched it. The tape was the play.
quote:

You don't get what he's suggesting, they chant STTDB during and only during the piped in music and not while the band is playing. All band songs get reinstated and piped in music gets banned.

While that is a good strategy in theory...With our new speaker system you can easily drown out the student section and with a much better result than with the student band. Also, just pick music that does not have a relatively 'low' or 'quiet' chorus or section.

To get to another point. If this is the only way the SEC is trying to counter the growing decline of student attendance I do not think it will be enough. Allowing alcohol sales as well as the incorporation of technology to the game experience will be the major way in my mind to bring student's back. The student's of today have grown up in a world of constant mass media and technology. The simple draw of the game is not enough to keep their attention. NOW GET OFF MY LAWN!
Also slackster, about your sheriff Tate, this just popped up on reddit.

Nice points slackster. I agree with all of them.

I just don't see the normal cliche of hart being the killer in big reveal in the last episode either. I also don't think the grandfather will be involved, that seems to a little too easy writing too.
Also has anyone mentioned in this thread that there are three scenes depicting men standing around a woman. The first is with Martys daughters dolls as has been pointed out. The second is a photograph with Dora Lange surrounded by men on horseback. The thirds is Chole's beer can figurines, as if he is subtly seeing if the detectives recognize it.

Also, in one scene in the first episode you can clearly see a picture on Marty's wall in his house of a spiral drawn by a child, presumably his oldest daughter. "It was under his nose the whole time" damn, en fuego beat me to it lol

I can't take credit for these, they are from reddit but they fit in with the Marty kid connection a few of y'all are throwing out. I hope I'm not reposting, didn't have time to read 70 paged

Here is a link to a must read interview with the writer. LINK

You guys might be over thinking it a bit much.

quote:

I’ve enjoyed reading people theorize about what’s going to happen because it’s a sign that you’re connecting. But I’m also sort of surprised by how far afield they’re getting. Like, why do you think we’re tricking you? It’s because you’ve been abused as an audience for more than 20 years. The show’s not trying to outsmart you. And really if you pay attention… if someone watches the first episode and really listens, it tells you 85 percent of the story of the first six episodes.

Is it just me or is anyone else scared we are up against Kenny powers jr. on the mound?

I have always been hesitant with first row because you have to download a player and I am afraid on what else it installs. Is it safe?
