Probably going to throw it on the grill this weekend. Any suggestions?

how in the hell are those guys on waivers

10 team league with shallow bench. I have Jackson riding my bench now. Torain and Blount were both dropped this week. I'm leaning towards dropping Jackson for Blount- more upside. Torain scares me with his injury history, Portis coming back, and a crazy head coach.

Thanks for the help guys.

Who has more upside for the rest of the year: Fred Jackson, L. Blount, or Torain?

It's a work league. I should have mentioned it before but didn't. So I kinda don't feel like it's right to go back and make a big deal about it now.

Playoff Seeding Screwup

Posted by Mr Moses on 12/21/09 at 9:05 am
So, I'm in a 12 team money league. 4 team playoff weeks 15 and 16. I'm the #1 seed. The commish was out of town and got one of the other league members to input the playoff matchups last week. Based on this guy's error the seeding process got screwed up and I ended up playing the #3 seed instead of the #4 seed.

So the #3 seed is red-hot and beat me but I scored more points than the #4 seed and therefore should have won my game. Do I have a valid complaint or is it too late b/c I didn't speak up earlier?

Hasn't britt been on fire lately?
I went with Palmer last week and regretted it.

Roster Question

Posted by Mr Moses on 11/17/09 at 11:33 am
12 Team PPR league. Start 2 RB, 2 WR, and 1 RB/WR Flex. I'm currently in 2nd place but leading my division. I'm essentially guaranteed to make the playoffs, so I'm looking to add depth for the playoff run. Here's my roster now:

Chris Johnson (start)
Pierre Thomas (start)
Tim Hightower (sometimes flex)
Mike Bell
Derrick Ward

Andre Johnson (start)
Wes Welker (start)
MSW (sometimes flex)
Devin Hester
Nate Washington

I don't feel comfortable in my RB depth at all. I'm thinking of trading a WR or WR package for a RB. Who do you think I should try and move? Would a Hightower/Hester package get me anything? Or Hester/MSW?

FYI...there's no RB's on waivers worth anything (obviously) and here are the WR's out there now: Maclin, Garcon, Meachem, Avant...

Hester's ankle is a little banged up and has missed practice. I'm benching him this week. If that helps.

What's the deal with this show? I watched the first few episodes of season 1 and didn't see what the big deal was. Did I give up too soon?

re: D. Ward or Greene

Ward has sucked but i'm hoping he turns it around at the end of this season as Caddy starts to fade.
I'm kinda in the same boat at needing to trade a WR and have almost the exact same players:

Andre Johnson
Randy Moss
Vincent Jackson
Steve Smith

I have a guy who's desperate at WR and I'm pretty sure will trade me Cedric Benson with a few other parts thrown in, which of these WR's has the least potential going forward?

re: 4 Stud WR's

10 Team PPR. 6-0 so far but I'm only the 2nd best team in the league. A few weeks ago I traded a guy Benson and Brown for Forte...thinking their fortunes would reverse. So far it's not looking good for me on that trade. lol.

4 Stud WR's

Bench one:

A. Johnson vs SF
R. Moss @ TB
V. Jax @ KC
S. Smith (NYG) vs ARI

Leaning towards V. Jax

Also, bench one of these RBS:

Grant @ CLE
Forte @ CIN
LT @ KC

I don't understand your point. You said that since the fiancee sees him at the wedding therefore he can potentially change his fate and still be there but that doesn't make any sense. If ATL's point was that it's impossible for him to be blank (coma/asleep/dead) and at the wedding in both flashforwards since they took place at the exact same time on Apr 29th. So he's either not at the wedding or he's lying about not seeing anything.

Yes, you can play it offline through system link I believe.

Set 7? Wow. I haven't gotten very far on normal but mostly b/c the friends I'm playing with suck and hog all the lives. Not that I'm great or anything but they usually die 4 or 5 times to my 1. Is there actually an end to the waves?

Unreadable Disc Error

Posted by Mr Moses on 10/14/09 at 11:49 am
I just picked up ODST last week and it's been giving me this error when trying to load certain levels. :banghead: So I'll go through the trouble of beating a level and it will give me a disc error when loading the next level which means I don't get "credit" for making it to that level at all. It fails when trying to load the level after Alpha Site.

I'd go Sproles. Parker and Bell may not be back and/or limited. I'd rather start Sproles than LT at this point anyway. I haven't looked at their matchup but it really doesn't seem like you have a lot of options.

Trade evaluation

Steve Smith (NYG) and Bradshaw for Ronnie Brown and Anquan Boldin.

Is this fair for both sides?

It doesn't make sense from Harold's standpoint but I had the same thought that just b/c she read that he was dead in a report doesn't necessarily mean he died. He could have faked his death or something. They may just trying to pull us away from the original idea someone posed earlier about him being "in" on it and/or lying about not seeing anything. I could see them going this direction.

I also like the idea about the fiance being crazy and him not actually being at the wedding though. I could see that too.
