10. Joe Burrow’s scramble against UGA in the 3rd quarter on 1st and 10. Completion to Justin Jefferson for 71 yards.
9. Joe Burrow’s 24 yd TD pass to Terrace Marshall, Jr. to make it LSU - 42 Clemson - 25.
8. Tyrion Davis-Price run for 33 yds for a TD to make it LSU - 35 Florida - 28
7. Patrick Queen’s interception before halftime of the Alabama game then the 13 yd TD pass from Joe Burrow to Clyde Edwards-Helaire to lead 33-13 at halftime.
6. Joe Burrow’s run for 29 yds to the Clemson 6 yard line before halftime of the CFP National Championship Game which ultimately set up the 6 yd TD pass from Joe Burrow to Thaddeus Moss to go up 28-17 over Clemson at halftime.
5. Derek Stingley, Jr.’s 4th quarter end zone interception of Kyle Trask when LSU was up 35-28 on UF.
4. Joe Burrow 52 yd TD pass to Ja'Marr Chase to make it LSU - 7 Clemson - 7.
3. With 11:47 left in the 4th quarter and facing 3rd & 10 at the Alabama 36 yd line, LSU up 33 - 27, Joe Burrow checks it down while under pressure to Clyde Edwards-Helaire who carries Trevon Diggs for about 6 yards and punishes Jared Mayden for 1 more yard.
2. Clyde Edwards-Helaire rushes for a 7 yard TD and again wins his one-on-one with Trevon Diggs.
1. With 2:37 left in the 4th quarter and facing 3rd and 17 from their own 39 yard line, Clyde Edwards-Helaire picks up the blitz, and Joe Burrow slides in the pocket and completes the pass to Justin Jefferson for 61 yds and a TD. LSU goes up 45-31 after a successful 2-pt conversion.

These were all incredible plays.

I also enjoyed the 3rd & 2 at LSU 22 yd line, LSU up 14-7 in the 1st quarter against OU, and Joe Burrow scrambles around and completes a 24 yd pass to Terrace Marshall, Jr. for a 1ST down.

What plays do you think are missing?

ETA the other plays mentioned with a little detail:

quote:

michael corleone: With 13:29 remaining in the 4th quarter,3rd and 2 from the AU 7 yd line, Joe Burrow faked pass to hold Jeremiah Dinson, waited for a lane to open and ran 7 yards up the middle for a TD to take the lead 23-13.

quote:

releauxded2469: With 1:11 remaining in the 2nd quarter against Alabama, LSU had it 1st & 10 at the Alabama 17 yd line. Joe Burrow completed a pass to Thaddeus Moss for 16 yds to the Alabama 1 yd line for a 1st down. Again, against Trevon Diggs. Remember, not only was it ruled a catch on the field, it was reviewed and confirmed a catch by the replay booth. The refs ruled that he was forced out by Diggs which would still make him an eligible receiver.

quote:

chewstick: With 1st & 10 at their own 46 yd line (the drive following Derek Stingley's interception #5 on the highlight video) and 5:43 remaining in the 4th quarter. Joe Burrow completed a pass to Ja'Marr Chase for 54 yds and a TD to make it LSU - 42 UF - 28.

quote:

Indigold: (1) Joe Burrow’s pass complete to Derrick Dillon for a 37 yd TD to go up 29 – 7 on Mississippi State. (2) Already up 48-7, LSU defense, mainly Neil Farrell, Jr., gets a safety to add the exclamation on the game and make it LSU – 50 Texas A&M – 7. (3) Both of Derek Stingley, Jr.’s interceptions against Georgia. 1st – Stingley intercepted Jake Fromm at the LSU 13 yd line to keep the lead at 17-3. 2nd – Stingley intercepted Fromm on a perfect read of the route and QB. Of course, LSU went on to score a TD on the next drive to go up 34 – 3.

quote:

AlwysATgr: With 5:07 remaining in the 2nd quarter and 1st and 10 at their own 40 yard line, Joe Burrow completes a pass to Racey McMath for 60 yards and a TD to go up 15-7 on Mississippi State. Racey Rings the Cowbell.

quote:

dwariley: With LSU and Auburn tied at 10 with 13:30 remaining in the 3rd quarter, DJ Williams (AU) broke free for a huge run – 70 yards. Grant Delpit hustled to cause him to step out at the LSU 9 yard line. This was a huge hustle play because it led to an Auburn FG.

quote:

Cuz413: 1st and 10 at their own 37 yd line with 12:00 remaining in the 1st quarter, Joe Burrow pass complete to Joe Burrow for 16 yds to the Georgia 47 yd line for a 1st down.

quote:

TigerFanInSouthland: 1st & 10 at the Texas 21 yd line with 0:42 remaining in the 2nd quarter, Joe Burrow throws a beautiful back shoulder throw to Justin Jefferson for a 21 yard TD. LSU goes up 20 – 7 at halftime.

Burrow QB draw for a TD should be in the top 3-5. Winning score. Had to wait and read the LB. closest game we had all season.

The fun part about this is that there are 10 more plays you could easily make an argument for...and can't take anything away from the 10 on the list.

I think the Chase TD from the FL game to clinch it is top 10 for sure. Maybe even top 5

All great plays, but I have No. 2 as my No. 1 play (No. 22 for the good guys willing himself into the end zone against the elephants).

No argument with number 1. It was the defining play of our season. No argument with any of them really. Some others that come to mind: the long TD to Dillon against Ms. St. It was a thing of beauty. The safety against A&M. It was a perfect little cherry on top of the arse whooping, especially after last years game and all the talk about our defense. Moss’s catch at the 1 against Bama. Either of Stingleys picks against Georgia.

They should have made it the top 30 plays of 2019. As there are a ton of other plays that were equally or more impactful than a lot of those plays on that list.

Grant Delpit's hustle causes the Auburn rb to step out at the 7 yd line. Auburn settles for a field goal.
