Exactly. It’s like the fig professor you had who has never had a real job teaching you something. Then you get out in the Real world and it doesn’t match. Happens all the time.

Hmm, seems like if the models that influenced our policy were grossly incorrect then we should be changing course.

I would demand an apology from all of the posters who have sanctimoniously defended Fauci and his "expertise" against those of us who have been stating that he was exaggerating numbers and causing a needless panic... But then, they probably don't believe this either.

Some people are so hard up on "science", and never figure out what a phony landscape that community can be. Listen to doctors who have dealt with these things and understand trends. Never trust the people who have "Dr." next to their name, and all they do is talk and agree with other "scientists". These are the same types who are telling us the world is overheating, and that we're all going to die of melting ice overflow.

The first part about how they walked back the 500,000 number to 20,000 is incorrect.

The models are still hopefully wrong, though.

edit: As the link says, the numbers for there being less than 20,000 deaths if the UK locks down are literally in the original paper. No new information or changes were made when he gave the 20,000 number.

Hold on, Cuomo was screaming about needing 20 thousand vents and Trump only sent him 400 yesterday.

This is all BS. You heard it straight from her, we have empty ICU beds... media are liars.

fricking amazing...NOTHING, NOTING, NOTHING adds up on this shite. NOTHING.

Look at total worldwide numbers...They are just a fraction of the US numbers for H1N1, which Obama handled by playing golf. H1N1 had similar death percentages now that testing has started. I have been saying this since day one. This is a scam to shut down Trump's economy. Let's get this shite finished and start this Country back up.

So people on the internet using actual numbers were more accurate than "experts" using made up numbers. I'm shocked.

Too late though. Governors and mayors got a taste of the power they usurped from the people in the name of this "emergency." They will not be quick to give it up.

Birx was skeptical from the start of the models. And she was right to be.
