Evangelical pastor mocks ‘pansies,’ won’t close church for coronavirus

Is this ignorant? Selfish? Divine?

quote:

“If you cannot be saved in church, you in serious trouble,” Pastor Rodney Howard-Browne told Florida’s River Tampa Bay Church, as he encouraged congregants to hug in defiance of health warnings.

“Listen, this has to be the safest place,” the leader of the Florida-based Revival Ministries International pronounced, as shown in a video he retweeted from the group Right Wing Watch.

“We are not stopping anything,” he said. “I’ve got news for you, this church will never close. The only time the church is closed is when the Rapture is taking place,” he said to laughter.
quote:

“This Bible school is open because we’re raising up revivalists, not pansies.”

I'm sure payments on his new sports car don't stop either.

There once was a man on top of a house because his neighborhood was flooded by Katrina.
The National Guard came to save him, he told them, "No need, the Lord will save me". This happened 3 consecutive days. The man drowned and when he got to heaven he asked the Lord, "why didn't You save me?"
The Lord responded, "I sent people to save you 3 times. You refused. That's on you, not Me."

This pastor has the means to communicate via the internet but is refusing to. Its on him and his congregation whoever gets this disease from these idiots.

I think that's fine.

But anyone who attends those services should be denied any type of medical treatment and anyone that can prove that they caught COVID-19 from spread coming from that Church should be able to sue them into oblivion.

Are we going to attack this fine Protestant preacher who loves God and who wants to save souls?

What is the world coming to?

Now, then, given a choice between the church of Pope Francis and this fine pastor's church, which would you choose for Eternity?

See? The C-19 doesn't seem so significant when you think about things in terms of Salvation.

I'm going to church one way or another on Easter. Hopefully Trump opens the US back up by then.

This is the one who had people get "drunk in the Spirit" (which cannot be distinguished from an average college spring break)

Empty pews can’t write checks. He can dress it up all he wants, he knows what he’s doing.
