As I’m working today, we are screening people prior to entering the clinic. Our staff has told every person with a mask, how to wear it and to keep it on. I’ll be damned if I haven’t walked into at least 5 rooms already and patients have their mask in their purse or on the table next to them. Most recently one who’s been partying in NOLA all weekend with the mask around her ears hanging down. THIS is why they’re having to take such drastic measures, because the general public are basically morons.

Just consider the fact that the spread of the disease is more than 2 times. So 4 to 8 doesn't look so bad. But consider 20,000 to 40,000 to 80K to 160K etc. I don't know if you missed that but think about it.

do you understand the concept that you HAVE to go to work. The others, not so much?

Man they should have just listened to the Governor of New Jersey. He excoriated individuals who don't take it seriously.

Doesn't this also shut down the entire petrochemical industry? Every plant in the state has more than 50 people on site.

It's not a gathering of 50 people... they're spread out all over the site

I mean the realistic expectation, at this point, is that it's going to get worse before it gets better. It would've reached those numbers fairly quickly if everyone went about there day like nothing was wrong.

With these precautions in place, I don't foresee it getting completely out of hand. Unless, no one listens to those precautions.
