Google has recently removed the toonces logo and updated their LSU sports icon.
We got ESPN to correct this around the start of the CFP, but Google has been a pain in the arse. Honestly, it’s about time—Toonces hasn’t been an approved logo for years.
Props to everyone who emailed them in January.

It is a reference to the SNL skit cat Toonces looking like our goofy smiling tiger that appeared on all broadcast programs forever. Or vice versa. Our logo looked like Toonces.

Well that video answers a past question I had about why everyone uses the gif of the cat driving so much?
BTW that doesn't even look like the logo in question, but that's just me.

I think it has more to do with the paws being up, like Toonces’ paws on the steering wheel.

If you don't remember Toonces well that equals Millennium or Zer. If you do you are Gen Xer, Boomer or older....Quick trivia for the toddlers on the board - who are the actress and actor in the Toonces skit???
