Boat Detailing - Who have you used?

My boat has been sitting up for damn near a year due to being on the road for work. I would like to have it cleaned up before I get home. I just need a typical wash and a wax, there might be a few spots with some light oxidation. Anyone have any recommendations for the BR area?

Geaux preaux has a place in Gonzales around St Amant high school that does boat detailing. Never used it but there is always Alot of high dollar boats there

WHO DAT - whats your standard detail / wax cost per ft?
I know this is a loaded question but generally speaking..

If you had any interest in doing this yourself, boats are a great place to start. Lots of straight surface area. Get a buffer, some pads, and compounds/glaze and go to town. Tape off what you don’t want polished. Start slow, and work small areas to your desired perfection.

it really just depends on what you want done, it can vary if you want just the inside, or just outside, or both. also if there is an oxidization I have to remove as well effects the price.

quick derail.
WHODAT. do you have products you recommend for someone wanting to do it themself?
I understand if you don't wanna share, but hopefully you have enough business where this wouldn't affect you.

I didn’t realize posting pics of a boat i detailed would get deleted....man this is site is turning into Facebook lol I’m not looking for work as i have a job, just showed a boat i buffed
Anyways as far as products it all depends on what you wanna do, for wax i use collinite 925 marine liquid wax, for polish and compound i use various 3m marine products. For pads i start with a wool and work down to an orange or black pad to finish the boat off.

WhoDat - I'm looking for someone to lightly compound my boat and wax. Please send me prices. 22 ft NauticStar.

Just started doing mine myself. Had someone set up for a few weeks ago but rain wouldn't quit. Using a buffer/polisher with an orange pad and meguiers one step for RV/marine. It's coming out pretty nice and easy to do.

I used Geaux Preaux. Great job for a good price. Rick is sharing a bunch of their stuff now. Might be worth a shot.
