There's a perception that conservatives have to choose between supporting abortion or supporting social welfare programs to support children that some people aren't fit to parent or afford.

What's wrong with people avoiding pregnancy if they're not financially, emotionally, or mentally ready for the responsibilities of providing for kids conceived through legal intercourse? Adoption is also an option. I think the responsibility of preventing unwanted pregnancies lies predominantly with females since there are many more medications and devices available to them to prevent pregnancy and they are the ones that would have to carry it to delivery.

I also think it's inappropriate that a female, including minors, can decide to abort a fetus conceived through consensual sex without input from the father. Men don't have the choice to forfeit their financial responsibility unilaterally, but it's currently acceptable for the mom-to-be to forfeit her custodial, financial, and parental responsibilities for a fetus that took two people to create.

It's irrational that some of these people that think pro-lifers should support children that would have been aborted don't think that pro Middle Eastern refugees, pro central and south American asylum seekers, or pro illegal immigrants supporters should fully and independently fund those "humanitarian" efforts.

It's also irrational that some of these people rant about gender inequality when females have vastly superior rights or advantages in abortion, custodial disputes, marriage, and divorce along with other areas.

I’m a far cry from anything close to being a feminist but holy shite dude, pulling out is equal to if not better than that. In fact, put them on their knees and face frick them.

ETA: how does being the carrier of the child add to the responsibility of how they got pregnant?

Nothing at all. What's wrong is thinking that telling people to just stop fricking will work.

People frick - a lot. They always have, and they always will. It's a part of our biological survival mechanism. It feels good, and it's free - if you work it right.

That said, the single best correlated factor to lowering birth rates worldwide is educating women.

Encouraging people to make bad and costly decisions is a staple of the democrat party’s plan. The fewer options a person has the more desperate they are the more control over their own lives they’ll trade for help.

This is the era of progressive liberals who wants to remove all responsibility and accountability from the population.

It's just not your fault for pregnancy, health, schooling, employment, birth control, life in general, etc.

Abortion is mass murder. Stack the SC and overturn Roe v Wade. Then prosecute accordingly.

Most people do try to avoid pregnancy if they’re not ready. Sometimes shite happens.
Teenagers gonna be teenagers, for example.
I “got lucky” a lot in high school. And that was just after the Ice Age. I would how kids re more careful now.

Your idea of “Accountability and Responsibility” is (apparently) avoiding sex completely, since no other action constitutes a foolproof means of avoiding pregnancy.

Others see termination of unwanted pregnancies as “Accountability and Responsibility” as well. Unless you were born yesterday, you know this. You may disagree, but it is disingenuous to pretend otherwise.

Because those people don’t understand accountability for anything . That’s why they want everything for free and don’t want to work for it.

When was the last time you had sex? You don't remember when you were young, sex and reproduction weren't a related thought at least in the front of the brain. The only real argument against abortion IMO is the argument of the the ethicalality of ending a life. The philosophical discussion begins and ends at what stage in a pregnancy life begins.

I can’t believe that people with less to lose than I have don’t act as if they have as much to lose as I have.
