Yeah I do not remember any downhill moments last season.

It just seems like he wanted to come here for the wrong reasons and was looking for any reason to stay home. Nothing the coaches could have done differently to get him to stay.

Hating on an 18 yr old for picking a college other than the college you wanted him to go to is never a good look.

I get the feeling reading comprehension might be a problem for you. You're trying to come across as sanctimonious. I really don't care that he chose UGA, but if you followed his recruiting, you would know he was telling us the morning of signing day he was signing with us. He didn't so that makes him a liar. Fact, not judgement.

I believe he flipped to UGA to stay close to momma. As he is a momma's boy. Everything else is contrived and made up.

His article just reads like he didn't want to compete. I don't blame him LSU is loaded at WR and are going to be filthy rich after this incoming Louisiana class.

I read okay, thanks. And I am not trying to be sanctimonious. And someone might get a lot of likes from LSU fans for running down a kid who picked another school.

To me its just not a good look. I think the kid probably did pick a school where he thought he would get playing time earlier and be close to home. Seems a legit reason to me. Its a hard choice for kids to make.

You know how you feel when an ole miss fan complains about missing out on a kid that picks LSU? You dont. It just sounds whiny.

Cliff note version:

1. Close to mama.
2. Less competition and can play earlier.

The rest is complete BS. Atlanta is a TERRIBLE sports town. Good luck building a “brand” there. Coaches leave all the time - quit pretending that UGA will have the exact same staff four years from now. LSU has a much better track record of putting WR’s in the NFL.

Those comments about LSU “going downhill” kinda irked me.

You realize that he’s talking about his person relationship with the coaches, right?

That is why it was on DAWGs 247... Damn, triggered much?

Why do people make this kind of argument. There is not one person in the entire universe who doesn’t already know this. Using something like that to bolster your argument is not a good look, either.

So grown men complaining on a message board about the college choice of an 18 yr old is a good look?

Hey, it’s just my opinion, no big deal. All the kids who lucked LSU turned down other schools and I am sure there are posts on their message boards hating on our kids. For me it’s a bad look when other fans do it and a bad look for our fans.

It doesn’t make a hoot anyway. This thread will scroll off tomorrow.

No hard feelings. LSU is going to be just fine with their WR class.

Yeah, you cracked the case, Sherlock. He’s staying home so he can ink an under-the-table deal with delta.

When kids talk about their “brand,” they aren’t literally talking about brand names and shite like that. They’re talking about the perception of them. He wants to be a hometown guy playing for the hometown team. Not a big deal. Just think of all the SEC Championships he’ll get to play in and lose. What’s not to like?

Paper tiger, do you know how to read or are you just jumping on to a different subject. In general, of course kids can go where they want and people shouldn’t hate on them. However, in this particular situation, people are really just hating on his stupid excuses and explanation for switching at the last second. Sometimes it’s not about what they did, but it’s about how they did it!
