Start him at QB and hopefully Payton is right.
That would allow for 20 mil. A year in other offensive players such as an elite # 2wr, Kamara, and a replacement for Peat.

Lol. Taysom hill isn’t getting that deal from us or anyone else. To even mention this is absolutely absurd. The saints are going to tender him. I honestly believe it’s a 2nd round tender but Payton is absolutely talking him up for a reason and i could see a 1st round tender being applied. If that happens i could see Payton try and work a sign and trade for him. If that does not happen hill will sign his 1 year tender and wait to become a free agent the following year. By no means is anyone offering 75 million for taysom. Drugs are bad.

Well I’d damn sure hope so. Even if Drew retired and we named him our starter h wouldn’t get that kind of money. The Saints just want to get by this year paying the $5 million tender pans then next year if he’s going to be the starter I could see him getting something like 4 yr. $40 million. That would be his initial “big” contract leaving him a chance to hit a $100 million quarterback style contract when he’s 33 years old which is prime age for a QB nowadays.

I like it. That deal is 15 a year. He’s worth 15 as qb until he surpasses expectations and deserves more. Dude plays more positions than any player in the league and does well at all of them. He’s worth 15 to the team.

There are people on this board that legitimately convinced Hill will not only be a starting NFL QB, but a good one at that. All based off of a handful of career passes and preseason play against 3rd stringers and practice squaders. Someone even said he’s a better passer than L. Jackson. This thread isn’t shocking.

Why would you pay 15 million a year to a Gadget player? Hill is not even a true backup QB and Teddy made 7.25 million last year so why would want to pay him more than double what the highest paid backup QB made? The truth about Hill is that he is an athletically talented guy that benefits from the creativity of Sean Payton. Y'all need to stop with this nonsense that he is a starting QB.
