Highest sustained was ~160mph in Mexico in the car in my avatar.

i had a GT-R built for 1/2 mile. AMS alpha 12. Went 0-200.89 in 1/2 mile on an airstrip in Georgia. Probably went 205 ish because I stayed in it after the cones for a second. Sold it as it was going to get me thrown under the jail one day. Car would do 60-130 in 3.5 sec and 100-150 in about the same or less.

138 on I65 in Chilton County headed to Bham. Had a little pedal left, but was scared of unseen popo in the middle of the night. Eagle Talon Turbo.

164 mph in a SRT Challenger, you only do that once. The time it takes to slow down to even 80 is terrifying. I-440 in Little Rock late one night after work.

That car would happily sit at 120-ish on a straight road and feel like you were going 60, with plenty more to go.

I miss that car, it was totaled when someone crossed the center line and hit me head on. Surprisingly it wasn't me being stupid

Me behind the wheel:

138 in an 89 Ford Probe GT on Hwy 61 on the way to St. Francisville.

135 or so in a 91 Mustang GT on 1-10 over the Atchafalaya.

Was less than 20 years old doing both. Especially stupid.

Couple of years ago: 140ish in a late model F Type on i-10 between Lafayette and Lake Chuck. Had a lot more pedal, but ran out of testicles.

Passenger:

160ish on 161 in DFW in a late model M5. I peed a little, but that was quite the machine.

I've done the racing experience thing at Talladega. As a passenger, the driver got up to around 165. It was terrifying.

When I drove, I only got up to 130. Still terrifying, though by the last lap you realize how well the car hugs the track and it's not as terrifying.

Curious have you driven the course on Gran Turismo or Forza before completing it IRL?

120 in a Dodge Ram 1500 on an old two lane road between the little town my wife’s family is from and the city we lived in. There are a couple of curves and hills, but there’s a stretch of three miles with nothing but farmland on each side and no intersections. I opened it up one night and was scared to do much more in a pickup.

Over 120 in a 1968 Plymouth Fury with a 383 V-8 back in the 70's.
That thing was floating on the road.
158 on my Suzuki GSXR600.
Ran out of road quick.
Got stopped by a female Arizona State Trooper going 95 in my Chevy truck on I-10, AND she let me off with a warning!!

Nice. This one is FBO at the moment. I've only had it for about 9 months. I've been steadily building it up and getting the fuel system and everything else ready for a built engine and bigger turbos. Should be attacking some 1/2 mile events soon.

I had forgot that evansville was on eastern and i (paducah) was on central time.

Made appointment with time to spare.
