Lizard Head (James Carville) Dropping Wisdom On The Stupid

Bernie and his minions poll their own peer group and think they have universal support for their plans and proposals. They pretty much preach to the choir.

This mornings show?

Those shows will soon stop booking him.

And they won't listen to him.

The Dems are too far gone.

Carville knows what he's talking about. I'm glad they aren't listening to him.

Carville will play the role of Cassandra this cycle, making accurate predictions that no one listens to and gets blamed for them happening.

There was an very candid interview with Carville on Vox.

He knows his stuff. Whether you agree with his politics, he is a smart guy. And loves LSU.

"I want to give you an example of the problem here. A few weeks ago, Binyamin Appelbaum, an economics writer for the New York Times, posted a snarky tweet about how LSU canceled classes for the National Championship game. And then he said, do the “Warren/Sanders free public college proposals include LSU, or would it only apply to actual schools?”

You know how fricking patronizing that is to people in the South or in the middle of the country? First, LSU has an unusually high graduation rate, but that’s not the point. It’s the goddamn smugness. This is from a guy who lives in New York and serves on the Times editorial board and there’s not a single person he knows that doesn’t pat him on the back for that kind of tweet. He’s so fricking smart."

Um, Carville has NEVER been the home of the state's insane asylum.

It had, however, long been the home of a treatment center for Hansen's Disease (leprosy), moving from a private facility in the late 1800s, to a state facility in the early 20th century, to the federal US Health Service during the Depresion. For a brief period in the ’90s (1991 to 1994), Carville even served as a minimum-security federal prison.

Carville's leprosy facilites closed in 1998 after operating for 104 years.

That's right. The insane asylum was in Pineville. They used the same scare tactic: 'We gonna send you to Pineville. We didn't know where either city was but we didn't want to go there.
