Y'all know if there is any hail in tonight's forecast for Baton Rouge? I know there was some in New Orleans earlier today.

It's possible with the cold that's coming in at the higher levels, but it won't be widespread or all that big. Seems more like a typical line of storms for this evening for most of us down here.

Going to be pretty windy in general too.

Thanks for the info. I just got a new windshield on the car, I really wouldn’t want it to break again so soon.

No joke, that escalated quickly! I woke up randomly at 2am and figured we we're in a flash floods threat vs a tornado threat so I checked the radar and the initial TDS was just a handful of miles south of me. Yikes ..stay safe!

Honestly I let my guard down early as things had seemingly went to heavy but junk convection. I figured the atmosphere would have stabilized in the rain so I let my guard down but then woke up like I said and all sorts of action was popping around us. Hope you and all you others fared well. Apparently a lot of trees down in Helena is what I'm hearing.

So dangerous at night like this, especially when there wasn't much lead in time. Even weather nerds like me got caught off guard...not good.

Our rental house in Helena, AL was hit. Old cahaba neighborhood, folks reporting roof damage, fences down.

I just replaced the damn roof 2 weeks ago.
