Anyone else notice the similar playing styles Between these 2 QBs, incredible ability to extend plays and the accuracy while throwing on the run.

Yep. The only two quarterbacks that we’ve seen throw the ball on the run and extend plays are joe burrow and pat mahomes

I say it every time I watch Mahomes play: Joe Burrow plays extremely similar to Pat Mahomes except that Mahomes has generational arm talent. A slightly lesser Pat Mahomes is not at all a bad place to start, and Joe might even be more cerebral, but that's yet to be seen at the pro level. Joe will have a great career if the Bengals can get him an OL.

no, they are actually not similar in style.
Burrow CAN extend plays and throw on the run but his a more pure pocket passer than Mahomes who seems to throw while running a lot more than Burrow. Mahomes is more comfortable throwing on the run than throwing from the pocket. Burrow is more comfortable throwing from the pocket than on the run.

Burrow was amazing this year and had the greatest season in the history of college football.
However can we not compare him to a Super Bowl MVP and NFL MVP?

We will see if he can play well in the NFL, but this year while watching NFL I have compared the QBs style of play to Burrow's, and I think you have to be optimistic about his chances to do well in the type of offense that is successful in the NFL today.
If he doesn't have a decent O-line, I hope his coach/coordinator is a genius to still buy him time to throw.
I do think Joe will be sacked on some plays that he would have escaped against college linemen, but that's true of anyone. It was just such a big part of Joe's game this year that there's some concern, I think.

Let's not start comparing NFL QBs with the GOAT Joey Burrow.

FWIW
Burrow compares to Aaron Rodgers

Hopefully wherever Burrow lands he gets into a situation where he can do what he does best.
Mike Brown might be one of the worst owners in sports.
Maybe on a level with the Clippers old owner Donald Sterling.
Problem with NFL is you don't have the power to demand trades like in the NBA

Did you notice that Hill runs after he catches the ball, just like Justin Jefferson?

I disagree. Although I think it is dumb to compare a college QB who has never played an NFL down to a future NFL Hall of Famer, we can discuss similarities and differences.
Joe does not have the arm strength that A-aron has and it isn't even close. I think Joe will take a lot more chances than Aaron and hopefully not be crippled by indecision.
One of my biggest criticisms of Aaron is that he won't take a chance. He would rather take 3 sacks and punt (to prevent throwing any ints or incompletion) than take a chance or two. Sometimes you need your QB to trust his WR with a 50/50 ball or throw the ball away. Aaron holds the ball way too long and it has resulted in high sack numbers and him getting hurt.
Aaron minimized his scrambling this year and he did not look to be a top 3 QB in the league. Aaron has not been a top QB without his ability to scramble. Aaron seems to be more comfortable when he can scramble versus sitting in the pocket. I think Aaron has struggled with throwing timing routes within 2.5 seconds like a Drew or Tom Brady. Joe has looked more comfortable with timing routes from in the pocket than Aaron but has looked great on the run as well. Just my $0.02.

Damn you have convinced me with that great rebuttal. Thanks for showing me the light.

Burrow doesn't have near that elite arm strength. It's good enough, don't get me wrong, but Mahomes has a Favre-like missile launcher that can shoot missiles from any launch angle or body contortion.
Burrow is really similar to Mahomes athletically and with his ability to extend plays with his feet and keep his eyes downfield. So I'll agree with that part.

I dont need to try and convince you, i wasnt giving an opinion...simply stating facts. Aaron Rodgers is who Burrow grades out as a pro comparison.
