There was also the commercial of the fieldgoal kicker making the winning kick then revealing they were chicks and everyone cheered like crazy. Ending tag line was "let's kick inequality"

I can get behind any commercial featuring Needlenose Ned Ryerson

Ned the head!

The Jeep one with Bill Murray was the best.

Your hate is showing. How can anyone think a non violent offender getting her life back was bad, unless you hate Trump.

I think you can be happy for her, while also pointing out that the ad was misleading. Johnson's sentence was commuted by Trump and didn't really have anything to do with the criminal justice reform bill he signed.

So I guess I thought those were ok

Who the hell thought it was a good idea to have a flamboyantly gay dude obnoxiously yell at viewers during a Super Bowl
You seem angry and homophobic. How do you square this with your liberalism? Is it that you just want handouts?

This is my GOAT. I still get it stuck in my head four years later and it always makes me laugh.

There were several SJW commercials, but I also thought there were more funny ones than there have been the last few years.

ways loved pop tarts.
Turned to the wife and told her I'll never eat another for the rest of my life. And I meant it.
Cant support a product that has to signal so damn much at the expense of the rest of us.

As an adult, did you eat a lot of pop tarts prior to this boycott?

The ad about women belonging in space that was full of women that have been in space? Obviously there have been plenty of women in space and nobody is saying they don’t belong there. Women that still buy into that girl power/women are so oppressed b.s. in 2020 are complete simpletons.

ETA -was the diaper wearing jealous one featured in that ad?

So if you're not virtue signaling here then I supposed you'll be no longer buying any Proctor and Gamble product, seeing anything that Disney makes (ummm ESPN...), no Nike, UA, Adidas, Converse, no Target, no Levi's, Verizon, T-Mobile, etc...the list goes.

I mean all these have had LGBT ads and have contributed $$$ to LGBT causes. OR Im going to guess that your just virtue signaling because Pop Tarts is easy for you.

Baw, if Pop Tarts get you worked up this much then so should all these other brands, right?

bullshite! Nothing misleading about it.

I know a guy not 25 miles from me out walking free. He did 20+ years on a Federal life without parole sentence. Non-violent drug offenses.

After serving over 20 years he is now free thanks to that Justice Reform Bill. He did more than enough time for his crimes. Way more.

I thought the Google one where the man with dementia plugging things in to remember hit hard and had the emotional touch that was well done.

One of the few that was about the actual product. It got to me.

My impression is that maybe this retarded notion of Super Bowl commercials being some kind of noteworthy cultural cornerstone has finally run out of steam. It has always seemed incredibly silly to me. The makers of these things should maybe redirect their energies into making full-length TV shows worth watching to take the place of numbskulled panel judge/talent contest shows. Just a thought.

Nothing will ever top the careerbuilder monkeys, so we need to stop expecting that level of greatness again.
