I'm also in Sumner County. New neighbors moved in next door last fall from San Diego. They fled CA due to politics and policies and are happy to be here. They proudly fly their American flag too! Heading into Nashville (while only 30 min away) is starting to feel like a whole different place -- people wearing masks outside around no one.

My cousin and his wife called me the other day. They have been in Silicon Valley forever and work in tech. They confided that they are closet republicans and talking to them it is clear they are red-pilled. They are getting to the breaking point and are looking to buy property in TN. No one else in our extended family knows their politics -- my uncle will not be pleased. Before their call, I was the only conservative that I knew of on that side of the family.

What do you get when you put fifty lesbians and fifty politicians in a room?

I had them a year ago on the left side of my face and head. Initial symptoms were headache and other cold symptoms. I only went to a walk-in clinic for it because I had finally gotten rid of a cough that had lingered for months and I was frustrated at another cold seemingly coming on.

I mentioned at the end of my exam that I had a sore on my temple (covered by my hair) and the doctor thought about it for a second and said I may have shingles. He put me on an anti-viral. The meds work well when diagnosed early.

I still developed more of the sores. But the worst part were lightning like zaps in my head. I was fully back in action in a couple of weeks.

Our neighborhood always does it up big, but I swear we're way busier than usual and it's just 6:30.

Maybe he's turning back into one of those Lizard People they talk about over on the Q thread.
