So with Meatball gone AGAIN, what is the probability of Bo Pelini DC and Carl Pelini DL coach?

He seems like a psycho on the sidelines, but ive watched other videos like him doing a pizza review with el presidente of barstool and he comes off as a cool guy in my opinion.

Not sure but I think the money would be a wash. DL coach at LSU, HC at Youngstown

Are they going to promote him? I know he's currently their DC.

This move on Meatball screams like it was tailored to get Pelini.

A lot of posters such as yourself have said it’s kinda shocking it hasn’t been made public yet. Couple that with meatball recruiting for us. across the country.

If Carl was the other option I'd take Bill in a heartbeat and that's uh, not a compliment.

That's Dennis "Meatball" Johnson, not Bill Johnson.

The last time I saw Coach Pelini was in POB's after that year's NCG win in the Dome. It was close to 3:00 a.m. and he was there with several defensive coaches. All of a sudden he jumped up on a table & started dancing, obviously smashed. He looked happy as shite.

I missed that he was asking about BILL Johnson considering all the discussion was about Dennis.

Why was Curtis Johnson brought up in the first place?
Was it just as a receiver s coach?
Never got why he would leave the saints for just a receiver coach position and never thought he would be hired to replace brady

Offense wasnt really an issue 05-07. Yeah that Auburn game, but the refs fricked us.

05 the d got off to a slow start. Maybe should have practiced more. In 07 they couldnt hold off arkansas or Kentucky.

Unpopular opinion, but at some point, Corey Raymond needs to leave LSU to get experience as a DC if the opportunity doesn't arise at LSU. If he shows he can handle the load as a DC maybe LSU can hire him down the road if he doesn't get a HC gig.

Shocker! Players that won a NC when he was a coach 12 years ago like him. Not a hot take. Pretty sure those same players also think ales Miles is still awesome. SMH

Follow former players and former coaches opinions and you will former results. Get with the new program or get out.

The concern I have with the hire is Pelini’s strong personality potential conflicting with O’s. This could lead to having 2 generals on the field. Aranda and SE are both more passive, and that seemed to work well.

I think the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and upheaval to a lot of the players' lives and the LSU campus and facilities had more to do with the early season struggles. Causes first game to be postponed, the second game to be moved to Arizona and then Rita roars through and causes the third game to be moved to the following Monday.

ETA: It was a total clusterf*ck.

Really hard to practice when evacuation helicopters are landing on the practice fields. There was no sense of normalcy as players had relatives and friends living with them on campus.
