Does anybody know if LSU has shown any interest recently?

We need to ask Raymond I would think. Maybe we have needs at other positions and are satisfied with who we have? Who would we drop at DB to make room? Seems like we’re focused on DL, OL, LB this year.

An 11.51 is not a fast high school time - obviously you are not super familiar with 100 times - but keep arguing
Kaufman did pretty well in the long jump is memory serves

Well it’s a damn good thing he’ll never have to run 100m while playing football!

Do HSs run the 100 in yards are meters today?... Curious, because I don't know..

Andre Rome, who was the fastest "white boy" in the state at the time, still holds Rummel's 100 yard record at 9.81...

and Michael O’Brien….. holds the 100 meter record at 10.43. So if Kaufman runs an 11.12 100 meters, it's not exactly slow for football...

100 meters is 110 yards right.. Well 109.4 to be exact...

He ran an official 11.12 last year. He will probably break 11 flat this year. That is plenty fast enough. I bet Delpit nor Stephens run under 11 flat. Fulton may not either. 40’s to 100’s are hard to know. Maybe someone has long legs. Maybe someone has short legs. Some people are quicker than fast. Some are faster than quick. That throws it all off. He is fast enough. Anything under 11 flat is pretty dang good in HS. You might not win state championship in 100, but you are fast enough to play skill position in football at Power 5 schools.

anything under 11.0 flat gets you in the state finals track. These are the 7th and 8th place times for the 100m finals at the 2019 high school state championship meet for 3A, 4A, and 5A respectively: 3A 7th and 8th place 11.10,11.13. 4A 7th and 8th place 11.03, 11.08. 5A 7th and 8th place 10.95, 11.05.
So his reported best time of 11.13 would put him right on the outside edge of being one of Louisiana top high school sprinters.

He is not slow, he is the opposite of slow, he is fast

For sure Slade Bolden will never play, for Alabama, Saban just trying to keep the door open at WM, those people at West Monroe were saying they couldn’t believe LSU didn’t get him, but that he wanted championships like Alabama, and his beloved WM Rebels but those fans didn’t realize that was what Saban was up to, oh he did play against LSU this year though stat line 1 rush for -1yds — those people are so delusional. He will be one helluva kick off coverage player his RS Senior year. Prolly would’ve made the pros if the coaches at Alabama knew what they were doing. Lol

Exactly!!! That 4.49 I can guarantee is hand timed. He’s a good player nonetheless

Good Lord, half of of my enjoyment of Alabama’s fake punt attempt against us was stuffing JJ27’s meal ticket.

Screw Bolden. He’s a groupie who held us to a different standard than he did bama during his recruitment

Hope he likes Tuscaloosa bc he won’t get much playing time other than a handful of carries per year

And their championship run is over

Slade Bolden 2019 Stats

He played in 7 games this year, recording 5 tackles, 4 carries, 2 receptions, and one pass completion on one attempt for a touchdown. Pretty sure he was on the field against us at one point.

Bama is there today recruiting him.

I believe at this point, it's a numbers thing.
19 signed (2 DB)
5 committed (2 DB)

with 1 scholarship left... i'm guessing it's going to...
Burch, Ty'Kiest Crawford, Kaufman or a transfer
