I need new wireless headphones. I have never had AirPods but I have an iPhone and I hear they’re extraordinary. The AirPod Pros are $250, what makes them worth that?

Depends, do you prefer tapes or CDs?

Tech board

Ive got android phone and went with the Bose SoundSport Free wireless headphones for $180

Great so far, firmly stay in your ears (which is a big complaint on the airpods), and the sound quality is great. Only issue is the left earbud cuts out from time to time

having had airpods and other earpods, no they are not worth the price

You can find earbuds of similar sound quality, better comfort, that will last you a couple years or more for half the price. They will also come with a warranty

I have some (not the newest ones) and like them. Easy to switch between devices, easy to use, etc.

Not the most comfortable (not uncomfortable though), but if you're used to Apple earbuds, then they won't feel too different.

get a pair of wireless bluetooth headphones for 40 bucks off of Amazon. I promise you there isn't that big of a difference, and they definitely look better. Lots of options.

I have the regular AirPods. They aren’t anything special as far as sound quality. But they seamlessly work with an iPhone and battery life is great. Also great microphone for hands free. I bought some cheap ear gel covers off amazon to wear when running or working out and it keeps them from falling out of my ears.

The more expensive ones are noise canceling. But for that price point I’d rather just spend a little more and get some over the ear headphones that will be insanely more comfortable. Most people shouldn’t wear noise cancelling headphones while doing physical activities

I love mine. Worth every penny.

I don’t have the new Pros, the originals work great for me.

No go online to Mee Audio and look at at the M Pro bluetooth. Amazing sound quality, 1/3 the price.

I personally don't care for airpods. They are too easy to lose for me. I am perfectly content with my wired earphones

No, no, and no.

AirPods are worthless crap that constantly drop or quit working in one ear.

I bought a pair of JBuds that were 1/3 the price, and have NEVER had a problem with them. They even let me know when I put them on that they automatically connected and how much battery I have left.

The Airpods had to be connected manually each time, and the battery life is questionable, at best. The damn things will say 99% charged, but 20 minutes later they will go out.

And don't even attempt to ask AppleCare when the crap inevitably breaks.

No, there are better options for cheaper all over the place. Going to apple for audio devices is like going to Jack in the Box for tacos.
