quote:

Rodgers also said the growing threat of climate change made it hard for him to accept Christianity.

“I don’t know how you can believe in a God who wants to condemn most of the planet to a fiery hell,” he said. “What type of loving, sensitive, omnipresent, omnipotent being wants to condemn his beautiful creation to a fiery hell at the end of all this?”

It's amazing how he can see into the future like that and knows what's going to happen.

Dude ditched Olivia Munn for Danica Patrick. He's not too bright.

In his defense Olivia Munn is probably batshit crazy, having gotten everything due to her good looks.

Danica on the other hand is probably a blast to hang out with.

Actually, Munn is apparently pretty smart. She has a vast fortune, and certainly hasn't made that kind of money in the entertainment industry.

I agree with him in his general reasoning, but certainly not due to climate change.

Is that quote really about climate change? He’s not just talking about the actual, literal hell?

So, Rodgers apparently condemns the Idea of God...minus having researched Prophetic Scripture.

God won't condemn this Planet...no more than he will redirect an errant Rodger's pass. Ball is in our court. Rodgers might consider the EFFECTS of the totality of Humanity...having ZERO hope that there is anything other than an indifferent, uncaring and unloving Nature...on the psyches of the 'weaker brethren'. They'll go rogue. And why not; Darwinian Nature approves..."survival of the fittest"...not the most loving.

It's not climate change that Rodgers has to worry about. In a couple of billions of years, yes the earth will probably be inhabitable.

“Wants” to send people to hell?

Umm, no. This alone shows his ignorance of the Scriptures.

He would serve himself well to read the writings of CS Lewis, and then he’ll come to the understanding that this objective morality he’s trying to impose only makes sense when God is involved in the equation. Without God, who is to say that these “evils” he’s speaking out against aren’t actually virtuous?

Stupid a-hole doesn’t realize that Christians are the people who have the correct predictions.
