It seems like from reading the article and watching the video that the title is sensational.
The climate change referenced is people going to hell.
Rodgers has a belief problem based on the idea that God created a world in which most of its inhabitants will not choose him and go to hell. He thinks this sounds sadistic. He is not alone. This is common for non believers.
The apologetic responses would be:
-How can anything be sadistic with no objective morality in God. No God and it's just opinion. God is justice. He will be just and loving by definition.
- God gives everyone general revelation and free will. People choose to not be with God after death. He will not force them into heaven against their will.
Some are satisfied with those answers.
Beyond those explanations one could debate about the exclusivity vs inclusivity of Jesus and salvation. A clear reading of scripture indicates that faith IN Christ is necessary for heaven. However some people surmised that everyone gets to make a decision right after death with one final revelation of Christ. Others have thought there to be other explanations where Jesus did the work and we are saved with or without knowing him or believing him.
At the end if the day it seems to me that God could not make it any different. If He forces all into heaven there is no free will. So free will is needed. Some would not follow Christianity even if they knew it was true. People want their own way. If everyone is told they go to heaven no matter what then there is no justice for real bad people and there is no incentive for those that need it.
So personally I go off of scripture and assume the apostles had it right. I allow that there could be more to it but I dont think God could openly say it and I would not bank on it.
Good explanation of faith and free will and you’re right, I’ve listened to people preaching the Gospel to unbelievers and after they’ve heard the Truth they still reject the gift of Salvation, even saying no if there was 100% proof it’s true. Remember, the Creator lived with the chosen people in a Tabernacle forty years, in the desert and they still lost reverence and respect for the Creator and sinned carnally at the entrance of His Tabernacle.....the rejection of Truth has been demonstrated over and over since the inception of man’s creation.

I still can't believe some idiots interpreted his comments to be about climate change.
I mean, have fun at Aaron's expense. That's fine. But sheesh. It takes complete idiocy to think he was talking about climate change.

Maybe if Rodgers had said his prayers, he wouldn’t be off this week.

you'd think being stuck in fricking Green Bay Wisconsin he'd welcome the warmer weather.

He’s experienced lots of vicious hits to his head during his career with the Pack. Just
sayin’.

I can't believe Aaron said this.
What would Moses think?
(Has no one else considered the irony here?)

His question shows that he was never Christian. The “end of all this” is but the beginning of our life eternal.
