Oh, wait. Nvm.

I'm barely old enough to remember this.

White House needs to remind everyone.

When Dems talk about the 2024 election being rigged, I always recommend that we find out what happened to those “missing” voters from 2020 that oddly didn’t vote for Kamala so we can rectify the problem.

I don’t get much of a response after.
Haters gonna hate but Creed put out some bangers.

Weathered is one of my fave albums, such good songwriting.
I’d love to see Creed play in some capacity but Mark and the guys and working with Alter Bridge overseas during that time I believe.

However, all for it in 2027. I’m not sure if they’d be comfortable because they’ve previously distanced themselves from the Christian label but ffs, the country is in shambles and it’s time to take a stand.

Would be a great play to debut some NEW material btw. My body needs this.
Voddie was an absolute warrior for the Christian faith. He never compromised on Biblical principles, which is to be lauded in today’s era.

RIP to a great man, I’ll meet you one day brother in the presence of our Lord.

A million times for MCATIS.

Such a good album! Every time I listen to it, I’m immediately transported back to those brisk fall nights of the 90’s.

Joel was on the band’s 1996 album. That was around the time they were beginning to get heavy exposure in the CCM world.

Peter Furler took on prominent lead vocal duties in 1994, perhaps most notably with the single “Shine.”

While James and Furler shared vocal duties until their ‘98 album, the songs that garnered the most attention on radio were sung by Furler.

So for me, I consider Joel & Furler to be classic Newsboys as they were present during the band’s period of heavy exposure. Not to mention when one hears Newsboys on the radio, nine times out of ten it’s a song with those two in it.

They’re just great songwriters anyway, Joel penned a great jam with “Entertaining Angels.”

Peter Furler and Phil Joel are the classic Newsboys that everyone refers to.

I’ll admit I’m also a huge Michael Tait fan, but I condemn those actions in the highest possible sense. I appreciated his apology and I hope he continues to work on himself spiritually on this road to grace that we all travel along.
When will they return the public dislike counter?

They removed it under Biden, probably due to the heavy ratios the MSM got.

Was helpful in determining which videos were crap and saved a lot of time.

End of Grey by Decyfer Down is a great album. Caleb Oliver had such a voice.

Kutless. I still remember opening Sea of Faces Christmas morning years ago. Love that record.

DC Talk.

And many of the other bands already mentioned here. Saw Skillet with Creed back in 2010. Also love Newsboys.

Relearn Love by Scott Stapp from The Passion of the Christ soundtrack is another banger. Had that Creed vibe that I love.
Watching at home.

Tearing up, this is so beautiful. May the rest of the world see how the body of Christ responds when tragedy strikes. As the apostle Paul said, we are not like those who mourn with no hope.

Wait, Kamala is homophobic?
UNCW alumni here.

This enrages me.

Willing to donate time on campus if needed for events to raise awareness.
Dude is making money off these ludicrous posts because people keep engaging with him.

If we could find a way to cut off that engagement then he’d be forced to suck dick to pay his bills.

Let’s make that happen.
Question…why the fvck didn’t we do this 8 years ago?

Also, how are we going to enforce this with blue states?

We need to be lawyer’d up & ready because the left is going to launch an all-out assault over this.

Fair enough.

However, I’d wager that your point is based on the assumption that these bands have not been able to create new music that is on par with their better known material. And in many cases that happens to be true.

But in Creed’s situation, I’d like new music if & only if they are able to recapture that classic sound. Mark himself has admitted in interviews that he’d like to get back to that sound because in hindsight he realizes that Full Circle strayed too far from what Creed is.

There’s a soundcheck video on YouTube from their tour in 2012 where they’re rehearsing a new song called “Shackle My Pride.” The audio isn’t the best, but it has that style that classic Creed was known for.

Better yet, have you listened to the demo “More Than This?” It was featured on the WAWO retrospective Creed put out in 2015. That song sounds like a hit, albeit the lyrics and song structure need a little polishing.

If Creed can create music like that then I say do it. Entice your fans with music they’ll love, both old classics and newer hits. When you’ve gone viral and fans are lining up to see you, it would be a waste not to.

Saw them in Raleigh last year, I’d go again but they’re not coming close this time around.

Also, they need to quit dicking around and release a single or something. I know the other guys have Alter Bridge but damn, you’re legit selling out arenas with Creed. The people have spoken. Give them what they want!
It all started with Gretchen Whitmer.

Anyone remember “86 45?”

I sure AF do.
Most upsetting is the fact that the NYT is assuming gender.
