Prime UNLV was a crazy atmosphere. I saw games when Tark was there, and it was packed, and lights out intros were unusual then.
I wish I could have seen a game in Oregon's old MacArthur Court.
Wisconsin has a really underrated home environment.

The game I went to at Koch against UConn last year was awesome. They know how to get behind their team.

This is a very good one. Went there when they played Tennessee 6 or 7 years ago with the VanVleet/Baker undefeated team and it was crazy. Game was in their downtown off campus arena so I didn't get the full impact but it was really good.

The small arenas in the Big East are awesome but are really only used for small non con games. They basically all play in larger NBA or NBA type arenas which kinda sterilizes they atmosphere IMO but I understand why they do it. A school like Providence just doesn’t have the numbers to make the student section in a place like Dunkin Donuts center crazy

The two I hear about are the Pit for the University of New Mexico and the Palestra in Philadelphia.
I believe the Palestra is technically only the home arena of UPenn but the other Philly schools play non conference games (La Salle, Temple, Villanova, and St. Joseph’s).

Then you know they didn’t pack the place in mid 90’s they were terrible. They showed up to the Eck for baseball though.
When they’re good SIU ILS and Bradley packs the place. Evansville Roberts Stadium was always fun to go to also. They have a new place now I haven’t been there though.
The Big 5 games at the Palestra is my entry.

How legit is Maryland’s atmosphere?
The old Cole Field House was a tough place to play.

Grand Canyon University has a crazy crowd
Which is really sad for ASU, as it is terrible.
Of course, it is easier to pack 7k.

I liked going to Bradley when they played in the airplane hanger. Illinois St was connected to their Football stadium before they built Redbird.

I’m jealous. I’ve traveled for many CFB games and maybe a hundred baseball stadiums between minor, majors, and college.
I’ve always wanted to do basketball, but it’s during a busy time of year for me. I can hit up Early Tourney rounds or the Final Four because of scheduling, but never really have a great chance to take days off to see marquee college hoops matchups. All the LSU games I saw as a student were at thePMAC.

I think you're remembering the Al McGuire Center which is/was cool. They now play in the Fiserv Forum about 15 minutes away and doesn't have the character.
Add to the list McKeon Pavillion where St. Mary's College plays. Old school type arena.
Allen Fieldhouse isn't lesser known but "Pay Heed"
