Franchise QB

A Young, dynamic HC who will be there awhile.

An accumulation of draft picks.

I'm afraid they will be force to be reckoned with for several years.

It’s pretty tough to sustain in the NFL unless you have an elite QB and Jimmy is not that. They should be at least good though for the next few years

It's a year to year deal with every team.

Everyone thought the Seahawks were set up for a dynasty years ago. They won one SB and lost another but nothing like people thought would happen back then.

No other team besides the Pats have done it so far. I'm going to go with no.

Been saying all year, Frisco is lucky as well as good, and that’s what wins Super Bowls

I don’t know about a “run of glory”, but they will definitely be a tough team for the next few years. That said, they play in the toughest division in the NFL and still have a big question mark at QB. The defense will likely have to take a step back at some point once they have to make tough choices on some of their free agent signings (Dee Ford, Kwon Alexander, Richard Sherman), plus they’ll have to shell out for Bosa once his rookie contract expires. I also think that other than Deebo Samuel they don’t really have a reliable WR. Emmanuel Sanders hasn’t been quite the deep threat they were hoping for.

Basically they’re set up for the next 2-3 years, but then the big question will be whether Lynch can repeat his roster building success.

This was year 3 of the rebuild. The trip to the SB was about two seasons ahead of the plan.

So, to the OP, maybe so.

Great team, but questions on if Garoppolo is the real deal for SF.

Love the way they built the team, but those types of teams rarely seem to stick together too long. Kittle and Bosa play the game with ferocity and effort... fun players to watch.

Yeah, but no

Look, I'll say this... they seem to be a well built team with a solid foundation... not just some flash in the pan "hot offense" or a one-year mercenary roster.

They are a solid team, not exceptional, but they don't make a lot of mistakes.

They are also young, and will have to deal with keeping all the pieces together once the rookie contracts end. That seems to be the kill shot for most of these teams.

In all honesty, they should be, they're set up perfectly with 71 million in cap space for next season. However, they will have to decide on a few such as Armstead, Sanders, and Ward. Then the following season they have Sherman, Thomas, McKinnon, Tartr, Juszcyk, Gould, Buckner, Coleman, Williams, Witherspoon, Beatgard, Kittle, Taylor, Jones, Harris, Helm, and Givens

Play design by Shanahan is so creative and a joy to watch..... fits their personal to the tee..... he stumbled a few times with clock management early in the year but his in your face play calling (all run no pass) really exposes and demoralizes defenses when they can't stop it...... its like game over and everyone knows it.....

If you have watched the 9rs all year, they can pass, not world class, but better than average..... allow for one or two bozo throws by Jimmy G a game, but net net, he can get the job done...... just look at his record.....

Finally, and the reason I am more confident that I probably should be about the 9rs in this game (and as a team) is they absolute control the line of scrimmage on both sides.....O and D..... that wins championships.....

Their D line and run blocking is old school which in a way is fun to watch for a change after all these Offense driven teams

IF there is an achilles heel, it may be stopping a scrambling quarterback, that's the wild card with KC/Mahomes.... they absolutely smash up pocket quarterbacks but can struggle stopping runners.... J. Winston (W1 of 2), K. Murray (W2 of 2), L. Jackson (W0/1), R. Wilson (W1 of 2).... so, basically should be a great game.

This year for football has been incredible for me..... born and raised in LA but living in the Bay Area for 20 years now, aint got no complaints.....
