Had I stayed home, this would have been my "go to" as I always mute the TV for CFB.

Did anyone watch this broadcast? I believe it was offered on the SECN.

I'm kicking myself today for not recording that. Listening to Chris Blair would have been awesome.

I did. It was pretty good. But I found myself flipping back and forth with the regular broadcast.

I think Blair means well, but he just doesn't have the same fire Hawthorne had. I would have rather heard Jim call last night's game.

I know, I know...Jack Hunt rabble rabble.

That’s the thing I didn’t like about the broadcast, but that’s the one I watched. It was a good 3-5 seconds ahead of the regular ESPN channel at my house.

He'll grow on you in short order. It took me a while to adapt to Hawthorne after John Ferguson retired from the booth. It'll come with time. And Blair has fully become one of us now.

I watched it part of the time. I bounced around the various megacasts. I enjoyed Blair's calls but he seemed to be behind the play when compared to a TV PBP. I guess on the radio, no one's ever going to know.

I have said this about him and gotten ridiculed.

And yes, listening to the radio you DO know. You hear crowd noise and know something is going on, but have to wait a couple seconds to hear what happened. This annoys the shite out of me.

I watched the main broadcast and listened to the SECN broadcast. Recorded the coaches broadcast.

Was very glad that I wasn't listening to the main broadcast when everyone on the game thread was complaining about it.

Thanks for the feedback. I was worried that would happen with the delay.

Also, I too would have also liked to have heard Hawthorne's version of the game (not in place of Blair, I really like him).

I watched it because I always listen to the LSU broadcast for every game. ESPN really screwed it up with that split screen though, no reason in hell why it couldn't be whole screen.

CB is very good. Football is his worst sport though.

I did, enjoyed very much

Wasn't thrilled with the chopped screen, though
